You'll notice that the email address is not my work email. I would not ask you for gift cards and, if I needed your assistance, I would explain that in any communication. If you continue receiving such emails, please report them. You may forward them to me and I will report as well.

Also, one of the emails asked for Apple gift cards; I'm very much an Android/Samsung person so there's no way I would ever ask you to purchase an Apple gift card. 😉

2026 is off to a start with a trip to the beach. My first worship visit of the year led me to my home church, Root + Branch, for an outdoor service of meditation and reflection as we let go of the outgoing year and venture into a new one.

What are you leaving behind? And, what are you needing to give or receive?
