See you at 9am or 10:45 tomorrow to worship plus grab time in Sunday School too beforehand. Our time with Schaeffer's book 'The Great Evangelical Disaster' has been pivotal for Sunday school. This is hands down the best opportunity to get face to face time with our elders too each week, so be there at 8am every Sunday in the Fellowship Hall!

This was key from our latest 'Just Say It' episode. As men, we're called to protect those in our care with wisdom and courage. That doesn't mean being bloodthirsty or vigilantes—it means exhausting peaceful options first, submitting to proper authority, and acting with biblical prudence. Stop hiding behind "turn the other cheek" when your family needs defending. Be prepared. Be wise. Be masculine.

Blessed are the peacemakers—but sometimes peace requires strength.

When can Christians use force? On our recent episode of 'Just Say It' we tackled the uncomfortable question many avoid: Is violence ever biblical?

From Nehemiah laying hands on wrongdoers to Jesus braiding whips in the temple, Scripture shows us that Christianity isn't pacifism. Our faith calls us to be peacemakers—but making peace sometimes requires defending the innocent and confronting evil. The reformers understood this. Luther said, "War for the sake of war is sin, but war for the sake of defense is duty."
