John Missionary Baptist Church we communicate the gospel to every generation through our various ministries, which serve seniors, youth, men, women, and married couples. We plan to develop young adult and parents ministries as well. We worship the Lord with a joyful spirit through our Praise & Worship Team, Senior Choir, Male Chorus, New Beginnings Sanctuary Choir and Youth Choir. We worship with

biblical truths:
- New Life Class (Sun 9am)
- Sunday School (Sun 9am)
- Bible Study (Tue 11am; Wed 6pm)
- Sunday Morning Worship (Sun 11am). We pray for the community and the world both individually and through group prayer:
- Noon-time Prayer (Wed 12pm)
- Mid-week Prayer (Wed 7pm)

Italian Home Ministry Lesson 8/23/2026

Teacher: Sis. Charleen Brantley

Prior to the afternoon pizza party and games, the children participated in an interactive lesson centered on Psalm 150:6: “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.” The lesson encouraged the children to become aware of their breathing, reflect on what it means to praise God, identify people and things for which they are thankful, and recognize God as the Creator of all things. Through questions, discussion, and opportunities to share, the children explored why we praise the Lord—for who He is, for His creation, and for all that He has done. The lesson provided a meaningful transition from the reflective learning experience into an afternoon of fellowship, pizza, and games.
Why do we praise the Lord?
● We praise the Lord for all that He has created and for all that He has done.
● We are thankful for what the Lord has done.
● We are grateful for what the Lord has done.
● We appreciate what the Lord has done.
Let everything that has breath praise the Lord
