Brothers United Inaugural Men’s Retreat
October 9–10, 2026
St. John Missionary Baptist Church proudly announces the inaugural retreat hosted by Brothers United, a newly formed men’s ministry dedicated to strengthening and uplifting men through faith, fellowship, and service. Join us for an empowering weekend designed to help build a strong and supportive brotherhood. This retreat will focus on strengthening our commitment to Family, Church, and Community.
The retreat will feature four dynamic speakers, including our featured guest speaker, Rev. Timothy Allen of Greater Friendship Baptist Church. Also Presenting Rev. Edward Cooks, Interim Pastor, Rev. Gregory Morris, Associate Minister and Douglas Lomax, Program Mgr., Safe and Sound Recovery Center.
Throughout the weekend, men from all walks of life will come together to connect, share experiences, encourage one another, and grow spiritually and personally in a welcoming environment.
