Olympia Ministerial Alliance We are a fellowship of Olympia School District CHURCHES ministering to Olympia School District YOUTH

The Olympia Ministerial Alliance exists as a partnership between churches that serve communities that are part of Olympia CUSD16. Our primary mission is to support the youth of our communities by:

- Awarding several $1000 scholarships in honor of Scott Ewing and Andy Johnson, both of who served as advocates and supporters of our youth during their lives. The scholarship is awarded to those senio

rs who apply and are selected by their responses to the application, two letters of recommendation, one from a teacher or administrator and one from a minister who shepherds them in a church setting. Award winners need not attend a religiously affiliated school for college, but their Christian character shows their capacity for leadership and Christ-like character.

- We support the Fellowship of Christian Athletes groups for their activities and events as a way to minister to those who may be invited by other students as an opportunity to have fun with their peers, as well as hear the Gospel and see what it is to live out a Christian walk while in school.

- We offer a Baccalaureate service for Seniors at Covell Community Church. We desire to honor and encourage graduating seniors as they get ready to embark on a new chapter in life. This is a time of worship with a speaker who is often an Alumn of Olympia to demonstrate that their futures are bright as they leave Olympia.

On behalf of the OMA scholarship committee, I proudly announce this year's winners of the Scott Ewing/Andy Johnson Memorial Scholarship of $1000 each to:

Parents, pastors or anyone working with a graduating senior: please encourage your student to go to the guidance counselor's office and pick up at OMA Scholarship form. Pastors will also have access to the forms so that homeschooled students can apply as well if they live within the Olympia district. The scholarship committee is looking forward to reviewing and awarding the chosen honorees with $1000 toward their schooling.

See You At The Pole this morning at Olympia High School. We had 40+ middle school and high school students join is this morning. Amy Jo gave her testimony about her call to ministry. Several other students led prayer. Christians students- let your light shine. Thanks to ministers, parents, administrators and teachers who joined us as well.

Our FCA chapter at Olympia High School will be hosting See You At The Pole next Wednesday, September 24. We'll start assembly around 7:15/7:30. Students will lead us in prayer and witness. Pastors, parents, and other adults are welcome to attend this event in a show of support to our students who live out their faith daily at school. We'd love to see you there!

The Olympia Ministerial Alliance is excited to announce that invitations have been personally sent to the homes of our 100+ Olympia High School seniors to attend the 2025 Olympia High School Baccalaureate Service on Sunday, May 4th, at 3:00 pm at Covell Community Church. Please join us on this special day of celebration as we worship our Lord and give Him the glory for the accomplishments of these soon-to-be graduates.
