Remember that big surprise we teased? I posted that we are going to let you know about our surprise. Well our surprise was that we pulled a banana from Queens Animal Care and control. She was late term pregnant and she was on straight hold until today and they were gonna set up transport to my house today. I didn’t wanna go ahead and say that because you never know what would happen in the next 24 hours! So today I get a text message from the Transporter saying that he’s on his way and then about 25 minutes later I get a phone call of course I missed it!
Called back played phone tag and finally he called me back!!
Told me that Momma was actively giving birth. One puppy came out she was panicking he was unsure of what to do because he’s never had this happen before so I was calling his supervisor I stood on the phone with him he was trying to help her rip open the sack. It was a time.
He told me he’s going to call a supervisor.
He called his supervisor and the supervisor called me told me that they are pausing the Transport to have Momma calm down because she’s extremely frightened and they have her very close to an emergency vet that if she starts struggling. So they let momma have all 6 of her ones. And updated me after each birth. I honestly can’t be more thankful of how abreast they kept me of the situation the entire time as I was stressed beyond belief because last time we had a pregnant dog coming she gave birth, and sadly we lost 3 of her babies.
Then momma finally arrives and getting her and her little family out was more than an ordeal. To say my nerves are frayed is an understatement..
the awesome transporter started getting the babies out and we were putting then in a small carry crate like for a small dog, he got 5 in and momma ran in with them. Immediately i lost my mind pacing, and i was so very worried and stressed as it felt like dejavu… we hurriedly got momma down stairs with her 5 in the crate and my son holding the 6th baby. He placed the single puppy into the pool and we had to take apart tue carry crate foe momma to get out.
Thankfully it was a success, so far momma and babies are doing great and we will keep you all posted.
We are giving momma some much needed alone time to settle and decompress.

Good morning, Saleena here:

This little lady was rescued from the shelter in New York City.
I didn’t really realize how bad her eye was until she got here. She needs to have surgery immediately. I have shared a fundraiser on my page for her, and I am begging—we need to raise the money to cover her eye surgery.
Raising money lately has been almost impossible, and I have felt completely defeated. The rescue is barely getting by. We have taken a few puppies into rescue recently, and today we took in French Toast and a straggler from Manhattan as well—a little male pittie puppy that was urine-stained head to toe.
I know that I have said we are closing next year, and that is still my goal, but honestly, rescuing is in me. There is nothing I can say or do about that. I try to help any way I can, anywhere I can, and unfortunately we just have not been in a position to help because we don’t have fosters, and we definitely don’t have the funds.
Raising money used to be easy; now we compete with all these influencers, nobody sees our posts, and sadly the animals suffer.
I beg you for five dollars for this little girl’s eye. It has to be painful; it looks horrific, and I cringe every time I look at this sweet little girl.
Please help us help her. Honestly, we need your help—this is an emergency. I have her scheduled for next Tuesday for surgery on her eye, and we need the money to do it.
Thank you all for always being there for PMAR. We greatly appreciate you, and the animals greatly appreciate you!

Good afternoon everyone;

I am just sitting here wondering why poor sweet little Megan hasn’t found her family!! she is an absolute roly-poly doll! She will be ready to go home in four weeks, and there was nobody waiting for this little lady! If you can All please share her post & comment, we might be able to reach her forever family we know they are out there!! She is Momma Abilene’s last Baby Girl that is available!!

UPDATE: a very generous person has offered to match up to $500 in donations so if we raise $500 that will turn into 1000 and we only need 700 more!!!! ❤️❤️🙏

 I received Momma’s estimate today it is about $2600 we are currently short $1700 to cover her heartworm treatment and that is not including her spay if everybody would please share her story she is a great little lady who was rescued right before being euthanized very heavily pregnant two days after she was pulled from the shelter she gave birth. She had 10 puppies four died six are alive’ Momma is an extremely great dog good with kids cats and dogs. She needs all of us to rally behind her and raise the funds to get her her much-needed heartworm treatment.
If everybody can even donate a dollar if only 1700 people donate a dollar we would be able to cover her surgery we really really need your help we cannot do this alone I am begging you💔
