Our silly boy is home on pain meds, eye meds, calming meds and an E collar!

I am turning half a century on Tuesday, and sadly most of the people who actually cared about my birthday are gone💔. My reacue is seriously struggling badly! And all i want is help and support for PMAR. Without us less animals will be saved 💔💔💔 like the ones in this pool, their Momma was scheduled to be put to sleep while heavily pregnant 💔 SPAY & NEUTER YOUR PETS EVERYONE!!!

I honestly am coming to terms with the fact that this will most likely be the last year we are open. With the way everything is going, the ridiculous requirements for rescues, the needless paperwork, all the things they want us to do, its just too much. Honestly we are scraping by, barely. Handful of fosters left, donations almost completely gone. Its heartbreaking 💔 but its been a run! And we have a year to turn things around. If we do fantastic but if we don’t we will close. But either way, we have done some great things and saved many! So my heart is happy for all the good we’ve done! PMAR HAS SOME OF THE BEST VOLUNTEERS/FOSTERS AROUND. && for that i am truly grateful & blessed and so are the furbabies we have saved!!
Please share my birthday fundraiser as we still have a quite a few that are waiting for their time to shine & find a home! 🏠 and we need the support as they still need food, toys, vetting, & preventative till adopted.

Well it definitely has been a day. Bitter sweet ti say the least 💔Woke up and headed out to grab Momma Abilene! She would not let anybody take her out of her crate, so we had to just move the crate from car to car, drive home, to say that my nerves were a wreck is an understatement.

Now our Rescue is on hold, we have been struggling greatly! We do not have that many dogs in our program anymore so we are not bringing in any money, and we greatly need your help to help this family. Yesterday we had an emergency would’ve one of our senior dogs and foster care, she got off the couch and landed wrong ended up in the emergency vet, she dislocated her hip, she was taken care of the hip was put back into place and she is currently recovering,
So we are begging for your help!
We have a wish list for Momma Abilene. We will be posting fresh pictures and updates as we get them like I said Momma is very protective and who can blame her she has been through so much in a very short period of time. She found herself heavily pregnant and in the shelter, then rescued from the shelter and put on Transport so that she can have her babies safely. Sadly that did not happen and she started birthing on transport and we lost the four precious babies! My heart breaks for her, however she is alive and six of her babies made it and for that we are very thankful.
So please help us welcome Momma Abilene and her six little babies! Please share as Momma is greatly in need of some food and the special treats that are on her wish list is very hard to get her to leave her babies and the treats that are on her wish list help us get her out!

This is Sky. Most of you know her as our silly, ear-infection warrior. We’ve been fighting a stubborn infection for weeks, but this past weekend, things took a turn. Sky started limping, and despite our best home care, she wasn't getting better. So, we headed to the vet.

She stayed overnight for the works—x-rays, bloodwork, and professional ear care. We honestly thought it was just a sprain. We figured some meds, a little rest, and our sweet girl would be back to her zoomies. But the results... they were earth-shattering.

Sky isn't just dealing with an ear infection. She has severe hip dysplasia—an 8 out of 10 on both sides. She has a complete CCL tear on the right, a partial on the left, and advanced arthritis. To top it off? She tested positive for Lyme disease.

Sky was abandoned by her original owner, but we refuse to do the same. She is a perfectly sweet soul who loves everyone she meets. We are already scraping by, and this news was a stab to our hearts—but we are going to fight for her. We’re starting her on a rigorous med plan and preparing for the first of her surgical repairs.

We need the PMAR Army now more than ever. Please, help us spread her story, donate to her care, or run a fundraiser. Let’s show Sky she’s finally found the family that won't walk away.

💔 Over 700 Days of Waiting: It’s Time for Peanut Butter to Go Home.

Two years ago, Peanut Butter was found abandoned—cold, scared, and left behind in the dark. While she has been safe and loved in her foster home, she is still missing the one thing she deserves most: a family where she is the center of the universe. 🐾✨

PB is estimated to be just over 6 years old and a "Velcro dog" in the best way possible. She is loving, incredibly snuggly, and has a silly personality that will keep you laughing every day. She doesn't want much—just to be near her person and to know she’ll never be left behind again.
