Timings of Operation:
The mosque is open from dawn till after the Isha (nightly) prayer daily. During DST the nightly prayer is held after 8PM and during other times in the Fall & Winters it is held @ 8PM..
Mosque (masjid) holds 5 daily prayers led by Imam Dr. Zaman Marwat.

Please do join us for prayers at the Masjid whenever you can as to be in the Masjid is as if you are visiting with Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالٰى) in his house. The Hadith says:

“Whosoever makes Wudu at home and performs it well, and then goes to the masjid, he is the guest of Allah; and it is obligatory upon the host to extend hospitality to his guest.” (Hadith).

1) Hijab - how to wear one. Come and try one on.
2) Cuisine - how to cook/prepare some famous foods of Muslim countries.
3) Henna - how to apply henna temporary designs and get one put on.

Reminders for Eid day.
-Takbirat start at 8:00 AM
-Eid salaat at 8:30 AM
-Breakfast at 9:30 AM (no dish to pass)

Parking:
We are expecting a lot of people so please carpool. Hickory Grove residents are requested to walk to the masjid if possible.

For eid dinner we are expecting a full house and ticket sales will stop at 12 PM on Eid day (May 2nd). There will be no ticket sales after that. You may buy your ticket here until then.

We look forward to seeing you and celebrating Eid with you.

The owner of a new authentic Hispanic restaurant is offering halal beef and chicken cuisine on their menu.
It is located in Village Plaza (Jubilee Plaza) in Horseheads.
They have assured us that they will prepare halal food after cleaning the grill.
They seems to be aware of halal restrictions and Muslim requirements.
Gluten Free options are also available.
