Our Vision is to build thriving Biblical communities on the Eastern Shore and Beyond. What should I expect when I come to Coastal? If you're checking out Coastal for the first time, you can expect a warm and friendly place open to people from all different stages in life and different ethnic backgrounds. We're not concerned about where you've been, but more so with where you are going. Our goal is
to make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. When you enter the building, you'll find greeters available to help you find your way. If you have children, our greeters will direct you to our Kids Church area where those volunteers will help you find the appropriate place(s) for them. Our on-site cafe will have hot coffee and tea available. At our auditorium doors, you'll be greeted by an usher who can help you find a seat. The Information Center is also available before and after the service to help with any other questions you may have, or to help you find your way. How should I dress? Coastal doesn't have a dress code, so you'll see all styles of dress when you come. This means you should feel comfortable regardless of your attire. Come dressed as you like in a suit or in jeans. And yes, flip-flops are welcome year-round here on the eastern shore. What do I do with my children? Coastal is a great place for kids of all ages! We have an amazing team of Children's workers ready to minister to your kids from birth to 8th grade. Our nursery, preschool, children's, and middle school classes have been developed with your child's security - and your peace of mind - at the forefront, which is why we do background checks on every person volunteering in our children's area. Your children will be cared for and taught by loving, trained volunteers in a secure environment. If you are visiting us for the first time please allow a few extra minutes to get your children checked in. What is the service like? A typical service at Coastal lasts about an hour. The praise and worship are contemporary in style and the messages are practical, Bible-centered, and life-changing. We don't believe church should be boring, so we include multimedia elements and real-life examples in our services. Please make yourself at home and participate as you feel comfortable! While in our sanctuary you may notice we have many flags along the walls. We actively participate in local and world missions to reach the world for God's glory, and these flags represent the countries around the world (including our own) where we support missionaries. What time are Sunday services? Sunday services at our Berlin Campus begin at 8am, 9:30am, and 11am. Our coastal kids (birth through 5th grade) classes are offered during our 9:30am and 11am service. Our coastal youth middle (6th-8th grade) service is offered at our 9:30am service. Want more information or to get connected with us?
