St. Patrick’s Faith Formation in Belfast students started and ended their “school year” with a fun game of musical chairs. They all grew physically and spiritually. It is so gratifying to guide them on their journey! They all blossomed this year!

SOLEMNITIES WITHIN THE MONTH OF JUNE 2026:

1. Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ (Corpus Christi) – June 7, 2026

This solemnity honors the Real Presence of Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist—His Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity. It is a celebration of Christ’s gift of Himself to the Church in the Blessed Sacrament.

2. Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus – June 12, 2026
and Day of Prayer for the Sanctification of Priests

This solemnity celebrates the infinite love and mercy of Jesus for humanity, symbolized by His Sacred Heart. It invites the faithful to respond to His love with trust, devotion, and conversion of heart.

3. Solemnity of the Nativity of St. John the Baptist – June 24, 2026

This solemnity commemorates the birth of St. John the Baptist, the precursor of Christ, who prepared the way for the Lord through preaching repentance and pointing others to Jesus.

4. Solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul – June 29, 2026

This solemnity honors Saints Peter and Paul, the two great Apostles who played central roles in the foundation and spread of the Church. Their witness, preaching, and martyrdom remain a source of inspiration for Christians throughout the world.
