Unbroken Word The mission of Unbroken is to share the written Word of God in complete and creative ways. Unbroken began as a vision to share the complete New Testament.

On November 1, 2013 this vision became a reality during a 20-hour event where the complete New Testament was read and shared. Our mission is to continue what was started and to continue to share the Word of God in complete and creative ways. "so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it." - Isaiah 55:11

Can you believe it was three years ago today that we first did an Unbroken Word Project with the complete and continuous reading of the New Testament Bible.

On every hour Michelle read 50 minutes from Matthew to Revelation and 10 minutes of some of our friends reading The Book of Psalm to give her voice a break. It took nearly 22 hours and we literally saw the Kingdom of Heaven come down upon us when we went through the Book of Revelation.

I think we need to consider our next chapter for projects!

We hope your Thanksgiving Day has been full of joy, family and great food!

Beginning tomorrow 10:00AM(CST) we embark on another Unbroken NT and this time we have over a dozen people participating in the reading from Matthew to Revelation.

Consider joining in person at First United Methodist Church Bedford Sanctuary for 5 minutes or 5 hours. We would love to have your support in the continuous reading of The Word of God.

Here is Dr. May reading a Psalms for our first Unbroken Word New Testament two years ago.

Now that we have about readers participating, we won't be reading The Book of Psalms between for breaks. The New Testament... The Word of God will be continuously read aloud starting this Friday 10am until roughly Saturday 3:30am.

Unbroken Word is returning for another complete reading of The New Testament. This time we are having each book read aloud by different people.

Join us in the sanctuary of First United Methodist Church of Bedford, TX. If you are unable to come in person we do plan to stream this again so we can further the reach of the spoken Word of God.

Unbroken began as a vision to share God's Word in complete and unique ways. In the two years since the first Unbroken, we've had the opportunity to share scripture in ways we've never imagined. It is our desire to share the New Testament again in it's entirety. The desire began with our family going through a difficult season, clinging desperately to the hope of Jesus Christ. When my heart aches and I don't have the words to express that sadness, I come back to the foundation of hope, peace, and comfort - God's Word.
This time, though, Unbroken will be a little different. Instead of just one person reading the New Testament with Psalms being read during breaks, it will be a continuous reading of the New Testament with readers reading completely through each book.
The world needs the message of hope and love that God's Word has to offer. - Michelle
