Church Family Update 📣

If you missed our Family Chat on Sunday, here’s a quick update!

Starting Sunday, July 5th, our Sunday service times will shift from 8:45 & 10:30 AM to 8:30 & 10:15 AM.

Why the change? Our early service continues to fill up, and we're looking to create more space by balancing attendance between both services. Our hope is that around 30 people would consider moving from the early service to the later service.

If you regularly attend the 8:45 service, would you prayerfully consider making the switch to 10:15? Your flexibility can help us make room for new people and families as God continues to grow our church.

We're grateful for all that God is doing and excited for what’s ahead. Thank you for being part of the Edgewood family!

Monday Motivation 📖

It’s easy to get caught up in what others think of us. We can spend so much time chasing approval, acceptance, and recognition that we lose sight of who we’re really living for.

This week, remember that your worth isn’t found in the opinions of people—it’s found in Christ. Let His truth guide your decisions, His Word shape your perspective, and His approval be what matters most. Remember: to serve Christ best you have to be looking to glorify Him, not yourself.

Live boldly. Walk faithfully. Follow Jesus, even when it means standing apart from the crowd.

Today, we had the joy of welcoming Pastor Kent Hoffsmith, his wife Amanda, and their three children to the Edgewood family!

Pastor Kent is stepping into the role of Campus Pastor, and we are excited to see how God will use him in this new season of ministry. This morning, our Senior Pastor, Roger Knowlton, along with many pastors, elders, and campus shepherds, spent time praying over Kent and commissioning him for the work ahead.

We are grateful for God's faithfulness and look forward to all that He has in store for our church family.

Join us for True North VBS on Saturday, June 27 | 8:00 AM–3:00 PM!

Kids entering 4K–5th Grade (Fall 2026) will discover they can trust Jesus in a wild world through:
- Interactive Bible lessons

- Hands-on activities all day

This event is FREE and open to the community!

MONDAY MOTIVATION 📖

Loving those who love us is easy. Loving those who have hurt us, disappointed us, or treated us unfairly is something only God can help us do.

As you begin this week, ask the Lord to shape your heart to reflect His. Pray for those who are difficult to love. Extend grace where bitterness would be easier. Choose forgiveness where resentment wants to take root.

The gospel reminds us that while we were still sinners, Christ loved us. Because we have received His mercy, we can extend mercy to others.

May we be people who reflect the love of our Father in every conversation, every interaction, and every circumstance this week.
