These are the words of one of the men our team visited at the Wynne Unit this weekend. I would like to share them with you all. Just proof of the Lord's progress.
Today, Wynne Unit welcomed ManUp 4 Christ Ministry with our very own Brother Kenneth Godfrey and wife, Brianne. Special guest; Rex Calvert, Timothy Winters , George Peoples, "The Captain" George Livingstone and wife; Brother Wilkerson and wife, and another Wynne unit product, Brother Anthony (A.J.) Johnson and wife also known as Lil A.J.
The Word came from G. Peoples stressed a point many believers fail to realize. If we are the one(s) whom the Lord choose, for His glorious purpose, can't no two legged devil overthrow the Creator of all, nor thwart His plan (Ex. 7:1-7). All we have to is trust Him and obey Him.
I sat in back of the chapel listening, and my ole eyes started to sweat, just a little bit. And then, my friend and brother made his way. back to podium to deliver one of those driving (changing) nails that seemingly pierced my Father's skin.
He came from (ROM. 6:3,6,9 and 12). While Kenneth was speaking a friend whom I've been discipling, and counseling tapped me,and said, " Griffin, Godfrey is speaking about the problems of the church; the very thing that grieves my spirit. If we have truly been baptised into Christ, we don't look like we once did ( the world) before Christ. Nor do we sound, or think like we once did. We don't TRY to live holy. Either saved us and deliver us from the power sin. So now, we live holy with every fiber of our being; walking in a way befitting repentance."
A show of appreciation, is due to ManUP 4 Christ and FBC First Baptist Church of Beaumont and all the faith family who support us by sending brothers and sisters of our faith family to visit us in the name of Jesus.
So, thank you Kenneth, Brianne and ManUp 4 Ministry; and on behalf of the body of believers here, at Wynne city, come again very soon.
