Fall weather has arrived and we are excited to get Lavish Women’s Ministry kicked off for the year. Our team has been praying for you and planning an amazing year.

We are excited to be kicking off a new series called "Living in Your Season". As women, we are constantly moving in and out of season whether it's physically, emotionally, or spiritually. Sometimes we graciously flow into one season and at other times we are dragged into it. No matter what challenges we are faced with in this season, let's remember that we may not have it all together, but we know the ONE who does. God is always at work and nothing is wasted with HIM.

We're gonna invite God into each season of our life this year. I hope you will join us.

Childcare is provided for 0-10 years old. We will have warm beverages, and snacks. Please eat dinner and feed your kiddos before you come.

Throw on your flannels, invite a few friends and let's kick off the year together.

This year we are going after a deeper relationship with Jesus! We are going to worship, hear relevant messages to motherhood (in ALL seasons/stages) and connect together for prayer, accountability and friendship in small groups.

Let’s be real! Motherhood, grandmahood, all hard! Right!? But with Jesus and living in a place of overflow instead of exhaustion and burnout, we can do this! God gives us everything we need and we’re gonna lean into him this year and let him lead us on this journey!

Hey friends!

I wanted to let you know of a new moms group starting at COTR.
(This will be taking the place of MOPS).

The Mom Collective will be launching Oct 5th at 9:30am. Drop your kiddos at school, or bring the littles (childcare for 0-1st grade) and then hang out for a delicious breakfast, powerful worship, fellowship and a beautiful message.

So excited to be launching a new moms group at Church On The Rock this year beginning in Oct!

This will be taking the place of our Mops & Momsnext group and will look completely different.

Our team has been praying for this new group and we are so excited for all God has planned! You won’t want to miss it.

Our heart for this group is to gather as mamas to encourage one another and build strong relationships. We will be sharing a collection of topics relevant to motherhood in all stages of life.

Kayaking is more my jam!!! I love it!!! I hope many of you will join us this weekend on Saturday for a fun day of kayaking and paddle boarding. Here’s what we have decided. Please help me spread the word and feel free to invite friends.

We have decided for this first kayaking adventure to go to Horseshoe Lake in Woodland!! It’s absolutely beautiful there and it’s really only about 20 minutes down I5 from Battleground. There’s a nice park, as well as picnic tables, so we will plan to bring snacks and lunch and actually have a space to come back to when we’re not on the water.

That means anyone is welcome. If you have never kayaked and you’re on the fence about getting one come and try out mine or some of the other ladies that are bringing theirs. Remember if you have an extra bring it. Paddle boards too! I may actually have an extra paddle board with me.

We can sit around and fellowship as well so bring a chair.

Lastly, this post says to meet at church on the rock at 10 AM. I am a big believer of getting places a little bit early to secure a place so I either need someone to be at Horseshoe Lake by 10 AM or we can just meet at horseshoe Lake at 10 AM instead of COTR.

OK ladies the first hike officially went down. Thank you to Anya and Kersti for showing up and braving Lewisville park trails!! It’s no secret I’m not a big hiker and I’m actually out of town for the next one, so if anyone’s up for leading the hike on the 22nd just reach out to me. Ideally everyone meets at the church at 8 AM, picks the place to go and then goes together.

Ladies!!! We are about three weeks out from our quarterly corporate Lavish!! We will be meeting off site from COTR at the home of Jason and in Ridgefield. (Remember where we had dirt church?) We have sign ups and need more help with food. See link in profile.

I’m also excited to share that we will have testimonies and an anointed time of worship with guest worship leader . Alaskan native with roots in the Pacific Northwest, Caryn's music ignites soul and spirit through hopeful transparency.
Born to minister parents, Caryn's musical influence can be attributed as much to her upbringing in the church as well as to the long line of talent that runs through her family. Caryn has lived in Vancouver, WA for the past 14 years. She leads worship at women’s retreats and events. When not on the road, she juggles multiple hats as a worship leader at her home church, wedding singer, songwriter, music teacher, momma, wife, podcaster, and creative 🙂
Caryn’s heart is to build the church, encourage leaders, and support mama’s who have children with disabilities and/or special needs. More than anything else, her pride and joy is being a mom to her 3 babes!
