𝗥𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗯 - 𝘂𝗻𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗼.
We often remember Rahab for her labels: a Canaanite, an outsider, a pr******te. Yet, God saw past her reputation and looked straight at her heart. Through her incredible courage to hide the spies, she chose to trust the Lord, securing salvation for her entire household. Rahab’s life teaches us that we are never defined by our worst mistakes when we are transformed by faith. God took an outsider and made her a matriarch in the family line of Jesus. According to the Gospel of Matthew, Rahab (also spelled Rachab) married Salmon and became the mother of Boaz. Boaz then became the great-grandfather of King David, placing Rahab directly in the ancestral line of the Messiah. No matter where you have been or what you have done, you are never beyond the reach of God's purpose. If He could beautifully redeem Rahab's life, He can surely do the same for yours.
