God can!

📣📣 We are starting our first cohort partnership with on Tuesday, August 18th from 6:30-8:30. It will run every other Tuesday until the end of April. The class will be located at Heritage Baptist Church in Lakeland.📣📣

The mission of ABC is equip the saints to live and counsel the Word of God. We are thrilled to be a place to help them do this! If you are interested please email our director, Sarah Puebla at [email protected] and she will send you the information.

**All registrations must be in by July 17.**

Please join us in welcoming Andrew Tew to the counseling team of Oak City Biblical Counseling! We are thrilled. God has brought him to us and know that he will be a tremendous asset! He loves people and loves God‘s word!

Andrew was born in New Orleans, but moved to Lakeland at a young age and has considered it home since. He attended Florida State University for undergrad, where he studied Communication and Religion and completed his Master’s in Theological Studies with a concentration in Applied Theology and Biblical Counseling from Grimke Seminary.

Andrew relocated to Lakeland in 2016 where he met his wife Sydni and joined the launch team for The King’s Church. Andrew is aspiring towards pastoral ministry and plans to pastor a new King’s Church congregation in South Lakeland that is set to launch in the Spring of 2027. Andrew and Sydni are the proud parents of Andi and Oakland.

He enjoys announcing athletic events, partaking in karaoke, and trying new recipes in the kitchen.

We are turning 3! 🎉🎂🥳🎈🎁

God is so good! He has done amazing things! We are bringing on another full time counselor and starting our first biblical counseling training cohort through ! We have seen marriages restored, hearts healed, souls revived, and lives changed! This is the power of the Gospel! And we continue to be amazed!

What a beautiful promise! But you will notice that it doesn’t say that because our eyes are on the Lord, he will keep our feet from being caught in the net. Don’t you wish that were true? I know I do at times. But It is in the places of feeling trapped that God helps us to become dependent on him.

And it is in those hard places where we often need someone to walk beside us. Oak City biblical Counseling is here for you.
