So, if you ever find yourself asking, Why would someone choose this or why do people even try to help , remember this:

Sometimes losing hope isnโ€™t a choice.

Sometimes life takes a person through moments so dark, so painful, and so overwhelming that they simply lose sight of the light. What we may see from the outside as a choice may actually be someone struggling to find their way through a darkness we cannot see.

Thatโ€™s why we are called
To love , To reach , To listen
To lead people toward hope again. โค๏ธ
And we donโ€™t do it because we have all the answers or because we are strong enough on our own. We do it because Christโ€™s love lives within us. โœ๏ธ

Someone may be standing in a dark place today, and God may use you to remind them that there is still hope, still purpose, and still a way forward.

1 Corinthians 13:13
โ€œAnd now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.โ€

โค๏ธ Be the light. Be the encouragement. Be the love. Point them back to Jesus.
You never know whose life God may touch through you. ๐Ÿ™โœ๏ธโค๏ธ

The mission of Chain Breakers Childrenโ€™s Advocates (CBCA) is to help break the chains of child abuse, neglect, violence, and exploitation. We will work as advocates for children, at risk youth, and families through education, public awareness, and by supporting community institutions that focus on childrenโ€™s physical, mental, and emotional health.

We had a small turnout today at Baylor's Beach, but everyone enjoyed themselves and we did it without drugs or alcohol. Lots of laughs, a few playful jabs, smiles and an overall great time! We swam, we had food and watermelon and ice cream and played the world's longest game of mini golf ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚. But it gave birth to something great ...

The 4th Sunday of every month, join us for
"SOBER ADVENTURES with The Broken Crayons "
Recovery can be fun...make memories, build community, and keep exploring.

These events will be open to anyone regardless of if they have started their recovery journey yet, are early on, or seasoned veterans, but we do have to exclude anyone from the adventures that are visibly under the influence of drugs or alcohol. To take part in the SOBER ADVENTURE, you only need to be sober for THAT day.

We are super excited for the September SOBER ADVENTURE...
