Yesterday, we received three new members into the life of our church: Kelly, Carol, and Mary. As our five week worship series, “Rooted in Christ: Love Boldly” drew to a close, we reflected on the fifth and final baptismal vow of membership and then we all remembered our baptism. It was a joyous occasion celebrating our beloved-ness and a wonderful way to conclude the Area-wide worship series! Join us on the journey! You are welcome here. 🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Did you know The United Methodist Church has a new vision statement? We are called to “form disciples of Jesus Christ who, empowered by the Holy Spirit, love boldly, serve joyfully, and lead courageously in local communities and worldwide connections.”

This summer, we are joining other United Methodist Churches in the Baltimore-Washington and Peninsula-Delaware Conferences in exploring our charge to “love boldly” through the lens of our baptismal vows. This new worship series, “Rooted in Christ: Love Boldly” kicked off this past Sunday and will last until Sunday, August 9. Join us on the journey. You are welcome here! 🌈🏳️‍⚧️
