Hickory Tree is celebrating their 80th anniversary this Sunday October 16th.
Church service starts at 10:50 am with light lunch in the fellowship hall afterwards.
Everyone is welcome to attend.

There have been multiple deaths of our Hickory Tree folks lately and I didn’t know until after the fact.

The latest is Sadie Bellamy (95). There will be a graveside service for her tomorrow (1/8/22) at 1:00 pm at Laurel Oaks Funeral Home & Memorial Park.
Sadie’s son Bob passed away October 30, 2021.

Also, recently Cathy Dollgener Lawrence and Kenneth Abernathy have passed away.

Please remember each of these family members in prayer.

Please pray for the family of Peggy Hulse. She passed away yesterday evening. Pray for her children Denise, Becky and Ray as they make plans to celebrate their mom's life.

The arrangements are as follows:
Monday, July 27, 2020 10:00 am @ First Baptist Church in Quitman, TX. The address is 301 E. Lane St. Quitman, Texas. Because she had COVID it will be a closed casket service. Please bring a mask. There will be no visitation and social distancing will be practiced in accordance with guidelines for funeral homes and churches. Then on Tuesday we will gather for graveside at 10:00AM...Laurel Oaks in Balch Springs, Texas....address is : 12649 Lake June Rd. Balch Springs, Texas.

I am adding a post that has come from the Pastor of Hickory Tree Baptist Church about the passing of Hollis Beeman today. Hollis and Mary are still members of Hickory Tree. Please be in prayer for Mary and the Beeman family.
