🗣️ PEOPLE OF GOD… If we could work with one another as much as we’ve been arguing with one another, perhaps something greatly beneficial to the Body of Christ could get done. 🤷🏾‍♂️

🤔 What if we could win more people for the Kingdom of God if by simply articulating thoughts / perspectives / beliefs / convictions / truth WITHOUT condescending / provoking / ridiculing / demonizing others for their current way of thinking and TELLING THE TRUTH IN “ANGER”?

🧐 What if we just planted seeds and let God do the convincing / convicting / reproving / rebuking (1 Corinthians 3:6-9)? That’s the Holy Spirit’s job (John 16:8). So why are we putting so much energy into doing it for Him when He could do it much better than us?

📖 Jesus said “And if anyone will not receive you or listen to your words, shake off the dust from your feet when you leave that house or town.” -Matthew 10:14 ESV

That means say what you been sent to say, and if the other person doesn’t receive it 🗣️ SHAKE IT OFF AND KEEP IT MOVING!

🤦🏾‍♂️ Sometimes we think we are FIGHTING FOR THE LORD by continuing to argue with folks and trying to make them change their minds. In reality we aren’t fighting for the Lord… We’re just FIGHTING!And we are DISOBEYING HIM when we don’t let it go by obeying His instructions to shake” and “move”.

A key indication to determine whether a person is:

a) An informed credible source, or

b) A professional conspiracy theorist who traffics in conjecture, gossip, rumors, unfounded philosophies, untested paradigms, internet information from unreliable sources, and just plain untruths.

🗣️ If the argument always refers to a “THEY” that you can’t verify ever existed… YOU’RE PROBABLY DEALING WITH A PROFESSIONAL CONSPIRACY THEORIST.

UNPOPULAR OPINION:

If we are Believers in Christ and His Word, we have to base our decisions and actions on the Word. Full stop.

I’m a preacher, but… There are parts of the Bible I don’t “like” or don’t think is “fair”, but it’s the Word. There are parts that make me uncomfortable, but it’s the Word. And we can’t pick and choose what we will adhere to when it comes to the Word.

GOD CREATED US and we are to live by HIS WORD. Anything else is US CREATING A GOD AND A WORD WE WANT TO LIVE BY! Bottom line… If we are Believers have to follow the Word of God.

And while that may be “simple”, it’s not always “easy”.

Thank you to DTE! Because of you we were able to complete our second outreach project at Lennwood Nursing Holme & Rehabilitation and bless them with Valentine’s Day gift bags for all 75 residents!

We have also been invited to have midweek Bible Study and a Men’s Bible Study there! God opens doors when we are obedient to His Will and His Word!

Special thanks to everyone who donated and everyone who took the time to coordinate, help us plan, and put the gift bags together!

Hello Everyone!

DTE would like to thank everyone 🙏🏾 who participated and gave towards our Pop-Up Ministry Opportunity to serve the residents at Lennwood Nursing & Rehabilitation 🏥 and made it a success, DESPITE a COVID outbreak 😷 at the facility which prevented us from taking pics 📸 with the residents.

We plan to do more in the community on a regularly basis (e.g. gas giveaways, visiting prisons & hospitals, etc) so please feel free to join us at our next outreach opportunity. We will keep you posted! 📅

Join us for our next 📚 Bible Study 📖 on Monday, December 12th as we learn about "GRAY AREAS🌫️: How to Handle Issues the Bible does not clearly address in ⚫️Black & ⚪️White" and how the Holy Spirit 😇 to help us determine how to handle gray areas and figure out what to do!

****LONG POST ALERT: 🙏🏾 PRAYER & THE KINGDOM OF GOD’S JUDICIAL SYSTEM****

“Do not be anxious or worried about anything, but in everything [every circumstance and situation] by PRAYER and PETITION with thanksgiving, continue to make your [specific] requests known to God.” -Philippians 4:6 AMP

A “PETITION” is a legal term used for a formal application to a judge requesting action in a particular matter. At the end of the petition, the person with a complaint adds a PRAYER.

A “PRAYER” is a legal term for when a person with a complaint or plea asks the judge for “specific relief” or to be awarded damages / compensation of which the complainant believes they’re entitled. This gives the Judge an idea of what the party wants in order to be made whole.

The Kingdom of God has a home country called “Heaven” and a colony / territory called “Earth”. The Kingdom of God is not a democracy, but it is a monarchy, which means the King is also the final and ultimate Judge of His own Supreme Court.

But you may ask.... Who is our legal team? Do we have a team of lawyers to represent us before God? The answer is YES!

The Holy Spirit is our civil attorney. He prays / pleads / intercedes for us to the Judge in a way that expresses our heart’s desire, but is in harmony with the laws of the Kingdom, the rules of the court, and the Will of the Father (our King):

“And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit PRAYS for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words. And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit PLEADS for us believers in harmony with God’s own will.” -Romans‬ ‭8:26-27‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Jesus Himself represents us as our criminal defense attorney. In the Kingdom of God, sins are considered crimes. Trespasses are misdemeanors. Iniquities are felonies. Abominations are capital / high crimes. But no matter the charge of which we have been “accused” by the prosecutor / persecutor (Satan - the “Accuser of our brothers and sisters” - Rev. 12:10), our attorney always wins His case and we are always declared “not guilty” if we are a Believer in Christ Jesus.

“My dear children, I am writing this to you so that you will not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an ADVOCATE who PLEADS OUR CASE before the Father. He is Jesus Christ, the one who is truly righteous.” -1 John‬ ‭2:1‬ ‭NLT‬‬

We don’t pray to be “religious”. But rather, when we pray, we are submitting LEGAL APPLICATIONS and FORMAL REQUESTS to the ULTIMATE JUDGE for justice, damages, compensation, cease and desist orders for infringements from our adversaries, restraining orders, decrees... you name it!

Now that you’ve been informed... PRAY! Ask your civil and criminal attorneys for help!

Prayer still works. Prayer still changes things!
