We’ve made God feel so familiar that we sometimes lose reverence.
But holiness isn’t a side note in Scripture.
It’s the foundation.

God is not a bigger version of us.
His holiness exposes what we’ve gotten too casual about.
And the good news is - He doesn’t just call us to holiness, He gives grace and power to walk in it.
Maybe the real question is:
Where have I made God smaller than He is?

The Name of God and the Power of Reflection

Have you ever stopped to think about God's name and what it truly means?

In our recent conversations, we've explored how God's name—Yahweh, the I Am—isn't just a label; it's a declaration of His character—constant, self-sufficient, unchanging.

But here's the kicker: if God’s name reveals His nature, then how we carry His name reflects that very nature. Are our lives a true reflection of who He is?

The reality is, many of us feel like imposters, acting in ways that don’t align with the divine identity we’ve been called to embody. But here's the hope: because God is the I Am, fully enough, fully consistent, we can be enough—through Him, within Him, and by His Spirit.

Living in light of this means our perspectives, priorities, and principles are constantly being transformed. Our lives become a testament—living ambassadors of the True I Am who never changes.

Maybe that's the point. That understanding His name isn’t just about theology; it's about a transformative identity change that echoes into how we live, love, and reflect Him to others.
