Today kicks off one of our favorite weeks of the year here at COTC - our beloved summer camp program, Creation Care Camp! 

Camp does so many things for our community of kids, but one of the best things is the excitement and joy the kids have spending the week together. We love watching friendships form as we worship, make nests, pretend to be bats, and build bug hotels. 

As we pray this week: Lord, draw your children close to you in worship of you as Creator, and draw them close to one another in love and companionship. 

Also a huge thank you to the volunteers serving this week at camp. We acknowledge here that the work you put in this week is not trivial, nor physically easy! The memories we create together and for these campers is what makes it “the best week of the summer” (a true quote from numerous Creation Care Camp alumni!)

Starting THIS SUNDAY, June 22nd, we will move to one service at 10am for the summer. Elementary classes will pause, Kinder and up will remain in service until we resume two services on August 17. Pre-K and under classes remain open through the summer. This gives a break to the various volunteer teams and allows us to worship together all in one service, just like old times.
