The 47th Annual Texas State Lectureship Committee would like to thank these three individuals - Minister of the East Side Church of Christ, George Williams, Gail Williams- Head of the Ladies Program, and Francine Matthews- Lectureship Program Manager who were instrumental in ensuring this project was carried out with God in the forefront! He gifted these individuals with the perseverance, passion, and pride to ensure God’s people were edified throughout this conference! There were MANY individuals that helped to support and ensure the lectureship was a success but it could not be possible without God’s blessing and the leadership of these three! We thank God for using them in a mighty way! 🙌🏽👏🏽

Thursday’s line up did not disappoint or leave any crumbs on the table! 🙌🏽 Our final day of lectures and sermons were thought provoking and soul stirring as speakers set the table with topics and panel discussions such as Strategies for reaching Gen Z, helping us understand how to Minister to the Suffering & Grieving, Using Social Media to Win Souls, and the Necessity of having a Ministerial & Elder Succession Plan for Retiring. And we dined scrumptiously from God’s word! 🙌🏽🙏🏽👏🏽

As we close out the 47th Annual Texas State Lectureship, we would like to extend our sincere appreciation to all of our speakers, and our singing groups for delivering well beyond what was envisioned for this year’s lectureship! To God be the Glory!

Whew! It was a “Wow” Wednesday as our speakers kept the momentum and brought the 🔥! They delivered powerful messages on the subjects of Sexual Ethics, Keeping Hope Alive, Christian Nationalism, Politics and the Pulpit, and Moral Relativism just to name a few! We thank our phenomenal speakers for the timely and relative topics!

Our Tuesday sessions were jam packed with informative sessions on topics related to Community Outreach, Building a church edifice, Racial Division, Challenges in reaching Millennials, and much more!

To top it off, our ladies were in full gear during our interactive ladies sessions as they navigated a “Survivor’s Journey!” We appreciate all of our excellent speakers and presenters for Tuesday’s sessions! If you weren’t there you missed a treat!
