I have only scratched the surface of this but have already seen the favor of God in just a short amount of time. For anyone wanting to have language for what God desires of you....

Obey His instructions. Follow His leading. Allow him to show you the way.

I am one of those people who sometimes works too hard on a project so I can see results toward the instructions God gives me. One day I must have been trying to fulfill his promises in my own strength because I heard God say "don't work so hard that you forget to take time to look up."

He was so right. I had forgotten what the power of stillness with him carried. I was so determined to see movement and to walk in my destiny that I was beginning to neglect my relationship with Him.

So, here are the words of wisdom from my mistake...
⠀
1. God is a promise keeper!
2. You don't have to work on His instructions in your own strength. (Ask Him for wisdom, which he loves to give freely!)
3. Take time to be still in order to hear God's still small voice!
(just like He did for Elijah in 1 Kings 19:11-13)

Transparency Moment: Last year when I gave God my yes to his plans for my life little did I understand the warfare or blessings that would break out.

The blessings I saw were the birthing of my blog, a book, divine support and connections from people who helped me transform. Also, I became an Evangelist with my church going through an actual training program, and I even went back to school to embark on a new career path all while being a stay at home mom.
⠀
On the flip side the warfare I saw manifest through some people close to me treating me different, endured verbal attacks on my charcter and my promise, and realized just how much I wanted to give up or throw in towel but God sent people to remind to keep going.
⠀
I have been silent about all this because there are some things that I am still working through but I can say with confidence that God is good!
⠀
I can say that He never left my side through the battles and always sent on time reminders to continue pressing. I can admit that I got scared and took my hand off the mission at times but I am here to encourage you and me.
⠀
Don't run from the assignment. Dont run from your calling.
I know it seems hard and there are days you want to give up.
Keep praying
Keep pressing
Keep resting in seasons of rest
Rebuild if you need to and come back stronger
Don't give up because the call is not just to save you but those attached to you as well!

Lately, I have had to take a long hard look at my life because I was not seeing the fruit I desired.

So, I have been reflecting on what changes needed to be made, reviewing all previous instructions from God and beginning the process of creating a better foundation.

Today, I encourage you to reflect or examine your life. Is it producing the Fruit of God's Spirit?

If yes, then continue on. If no, pray for guidance and make adjustments becuase it is never to late to produce good fruit!
