BE WARNED!

TO MY NIGERIAN CHRISTIAN BRETHREN:

A friend sent a video to me. In this video, a man who seems to be some kind of preacher, quite comical in a naive way, declares; ”I have so many power; lebadu seple la mande .” These are his exact words. He doesn’t tell us where the power came from but wanted us to know that he possessed them. It got worse. He tells us the names of these powers. They have names! Did you hear that? These powers have names like; “abi do shaka” and “dabas kabash”; then he says; “I have never touch those ones”. Only God knows what will happen when he does touch them, but I see what is happening with the smaller powers he has touched and deployed from ungodly quarters. Oh I see clearly. Then, he has “ganduka gandusa” and declares in Ibo language that; “if I cut you, you will turn to onions”. Literally this is what he says in this video. In other videos, he was the lion himself, the indaboski , liquid metal, odumeje and other strange names. I assure you these are occultic names or made up names. Either of which are serious insults to the Spirit of Christian ministry.

These names and utterances possess no scriptural context or biblical roots. Quite interesting and entertaining but dangerous. That’s why I write thus; Be duly warned dear Christian-especially to the one participating in spreading these foolish videos; be warned!; STOP PASSING AROUND THESE VIDEOS AND REPENT! Not even for the entertainment. God is not happy, Jesus is not laughing, I am not participating and you shouldn’t neither.

Stop it and stop it now. It is time to be sober and spiritually awake. No more coarse jokes! No more. I remind you again, the world is not laughing with you but laughing at you. They don’t know the difference between a real child of God and the “odunejes” of today. Such videos should be sent with a strong disclaimer and disavowed before reaching your audience if it must be distributed. These are not complementary to the cause of Christ but adversarial. Listen;

“Be *sober*-minded; be *watchful*. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.” 1 Peter 5:8

The battle is real. The devil is on the prowl looking for prey. Searching for weak individuals to destroy. He is using his most wicked weapon, subtle invitations to drop your guard and be entertained; He has children who are subtle and subtly perverse the ways of God! Notice this verse?

“O full of all subtlety and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?”
Acts 10:30 kjv

Do you even know what “abi do shaka” and “dabas kabash”; mean? Since you don’t know where they came from and mean, should you not be concerned? I know for sure that these are not powers from the God and father of our Lord Jesus. The only power we know is THE HOLY SPIRIT. I pray this man never touches them other two powers. The ones he has used so far have skillfully, craftily and subtly gained access to millions of hearts with a real and coordinated deception.

Dear Christian, remember that the unbelievers think these characters represent you and the kingdom of God.
Again, entertaining but dangerous- how many more odumejes will be born out of your appetite to be entertained? For him to gain this kind of prominence tells a lot about the current state of the church. Nigerian believers especially have become conduits of madness. Don’t fall asleep. Keep watching and be sober. These are strange times. Scripture states in 1 Thessalonians;

“So then let us not sleep [in spiritual indifference] as the rest [of the world does], but let us keep wide awake [alert and cautious] and let us be sober [self-controlled, calm, and wise].”
1 Thessalonians 5:6 Amplified Bible.

If a prophet does not seek to turn people from wickedness, God is not impressed neither should you be impressed.

As far as the prophet Jeremiah was concerned, in his day, such individuals were trafficking in lies. Yes, he said that
they;

“...walk in lies: they strengthen also the hands of evildoers, that none doth return from his wickedness:”. Jeremiah 23:14b

Make your own assessment of many of today’s prophets. Determine if their communication will turn people from their wickedness or turn them away from the Church and the Lord after their lies are exposed! You decide.

The game is up. If you are one of them or you know someone of this ilk, clowning around and acting like God is using them, let them know this is not funny anymore. God is fed up, the world is fed up, I am fed up and you should be fed up. God is not playing around, neither are people interested in the mess unless for entertainment, like those; commanding angels from Africa and the Indaboskis. Dear Christian the world is not laughing with us but laughing at us.

There is no need to be fake. Real prophets still exist. God is real and it is a wonderful thing to know Him and be used by Him. However, it is really really dangerous to bring dishonor to Him and His holy name. He is patient, but in time you pay an eternal price if you take Him for granted.

Again, for the believers and non believers alike; my advice? Check if a prophet is turning people back to God or at least trying to do that. If not, don’t concern yourself with their “predictions” since their utterances have no concern with truth.

God speaks to people and God speaks through people, but many false prophets are lurking these days. They deceive by making predictions that have no spiritual impetus but makes you only feel good. Hear the word of the Lord on that;

“I did not send the prophets, yet they ran; I did not speak to them, yet they prophesied. But if they had stood in my council, then they would have proclaimed my words to my people, and they would have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their deeds. Jeremiah 23:21-22

Again, real prophets want to see your relationship with your God improve. How complex can that be?

Listen, don’t “play prophet”. Make sure God is actually speaking to you and through you. Spend time with God and “stand in his council”. There still is time to repent and come clean. For now my friends; don’t be deceived.

SO, IF A PREACHER FEELS THE NEED TO PREDICT THE OUTCOME OF AN ELECTION, AND SAYS THAT GOD TOLD HIM ...OR HER, YOU SHOULD BE SUSPICIOUS OF HIM OR HER.
This is not about if God spoke to them or not but the fact that you should view such people with suspicion. Period!

Ask yourself. Why would God want to tell the world the outcome of an election beforehand? Do you see any purpose in that? Secondly, the chance of guessing it rightly is 50/50. So for some, it’s worth taking the chance in order to attain more prominence or mere relevance. This is the simple fact, but I don’t know why people fall for it. I don’t understand. Do you?

Okay, maybe we all need something or someone to believe in? Then, I say believe in Jesus Christ. For the record, a real prophet has a different and more pointed agenda that will promote godliness. True prophecies will promote God’s agenda. It really is that simple.

Now, for those that have a relationship with Jesus, you will find that the Holy Spirit, may often, “show you things to come” but this doesn’t always mean that he has sent you to prophesy to the whole world. Could it be that he is simply communicating with you as a friend? I have sometimes perceived the outcome of a boxing match, a soccer match or football game. And yes, even an election result. But did God reveal those for you to tell the whole world? What will be the purpose in that?

Listen, the man or woman who feels everything God told them must be shared with the whole world, has missed the point and will soon be in the ranks of those that prophesy their own imaginations and dreams, like you have seen in recent days. This is because God will stop speaking to them on that level of friendship. Here’s why;

These kinds of “prophesies” or predictions will only bring attention to the so called “prophet” and not God. It is self serving to put it mildly but more seriously it is has dubious motivations.
It may be that this individual wants to be seen as the “go to person” when others need to hear from God. They usually want to make the point that they can be trusted as God’s mouthpiece. But when they fail, you see no shame. In fact, it doesn’t even bother them at all. That simply proves the point that they are hardened inside and have a damaged conscience. As the prophet Jeremiah said;

“Are they ashamed when they do disgusting things? No, they're not ashamed. They don't even know how to blush. So they will die with those who die. They will be brought down when I punish them," says the LORD.” Jeremiah 6:15 (God’s word translation)

It will be nice to see some remorse when they get “caught”. But none whatsoever.

My friends, look towards God. He has given His ultimate communication in Christ. Seek to develop a relationship with Him and you will be alright. In Christ you will have clarity and discernment. Consider Hebrews 1:1

“Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world.” (Hebrews 1:1, ESV)

GOD HAS SPOKEN IN CHRIST! Keep your eyes on him.
