With so much information and environmental stimulants out there these days its easy to be overwhelmed. It's easy to lose focus and become distracted. The Word of God, however, is clear on what we should think on. Thinking on things contrary to holy guidance in Philippians 4:8 can cause anxiety, stress, and worry. So be mindful of what you think about!

"Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things (Philippians 4:8, KJV)."

Wisdom nuggets: It is all in the details...because they matter. There is a staunch difference between God and god. Capitalizing the G signifies you are speaking of God Jehovah/Yahweh ....the King of kings and Lord of lords...while lowercase g is an inference for an idol or anything you place before Capital G- God. Be clear in who you serve. So if you are referencing the Supreme being take time to capitalize so it is clear whom you speak of, EVEN if you are in a hurry. We must be clear ...so Pay attention!

In a world full of deception, it is imperative that we seek after God's face to be able to differentiate what is holy from what is not. Know His voice from that of a stranger. What is real from what is false. What His will is versus what our will is. The lines can get blurred if we don't remain connected to the living vine. Remember Satan is the master deceiver and he doesn't care about you. He's got an agenda and is deliberate in carrying it out. Don't get caught slipping and falling for what sounds good. Even fool's gold looks real to the naked undiscerning eye!

John 16:13 But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.

2018 has had many trials and triumphs. But through it all the Lord saw you through. With Christmas and the New Year upon us, let us reflect upon everything that has happened and be careful to give God the praise. If there is any strife or discord in your relationships, take this time to get it right. Forgive! Give Mercy. Whatever "IT" is, it is not worth losing your right standing with the Lord over. Jesus was humiliated and degraded for you. He carried a cross and hung, bled, and died on it for you. He endured for you. He carried sin away for you. He rose from a grave for you. He will forgive you. He loves you. He did it all to redeem you. Don't take unnecessary baggage into 2019.

Thank you to all the new friends who have joined the community ministry site. We are still small but God is mighty. God will add to the number as He sees fit. But those who are tapped in now are supposed to be. My prayer is that you are encouraged and empowered to grow deeper in Christ.
