Unity
The Highest Form of Evangelism
Greeting Pastor or Christian Leader,
We are inviting all churches, which believe salvation is exclusively through Jesus Christ, to participate in the One Great Day of Evangelism. The date of this event is Saturday, April 8, the day before Easter Sunday. You don’t have to leave your community, as the event can be carried out in your community. During this day, we are asking all churches and individual Christians to intentionally witness to an unsaved loved one, neighbor, family member, or friend.
This strategy promotes unity among the ecumenical Christian church. Unity is based on Joshua 1:12-15, where Moses told two tribes that wanted to stay on the other side of Jordan; to “help” their brothers possess their land. In addition, it is based on Jesus’s prayer in John 17. He prayed that “unity” would occur among those that came after him. He prayed the unity they experienced, would be the same that existed between him, the Father, and Holy Spirit. He said, when unity occurred between those He prayed for, it would display unity that existed between him, the Father, and Holy Spirit. In addition, the world would know who he was. The highest form of our witness is when unity is displayed among us before the world.
The enemy has divided us, but our belief that salvation is exclusively through Jesus Christ unites us. We are family through Jesus’s shed blood.
Once again, encourage your members to intentionally share Christ the day before Easter. In addition, we use Isaiah 58, the fast God has chosen for the lost. The fast breaks wickedness releases one from burdens and sets captives free. The amount of time you fast is your decision. The important part is unity between His Body. Please pass this message to others.
If we can serve you and your congregation by training, don't hesitate to get in touch with us.
Thank you,
Dr. David W. Hopewell Sr.
