My sincere thanks to all of my supporters for your unwavering support, sacrifices, prayers, and encouragement throughout this journey as I sought to serve in one of the most vital ministries of our Zion.

To my fellow candidates who ran alongside me, thank you for your dedication and commitment. You finished strong, and I celebrate the gifts each of you brings to the Church.

Congratulations to Rev. Dr. Amina McIntyre on your election as General Secretary of Christian Education and Formation of the CME Church. I look forward to supporting the work ahead as you lead our Zion in this important ministry.

May God continue to guide, strengthen, and bless us all as we labor together for the glory of Christ and the advancement of Christian Education and Formation.

Today I honor our fallen military heroes in prayer of thanksgiving.

God of our fallen military heroes,
We give thanks for the lives of those who sacrificed their lives for our freedom in this country. We pray that You will continue to keep us safe and protected in times such as these.

So good seeing one of my mentors, Dr. Braga, at the Interdenominational Theological Center’s graduation for Phillips School of Theology students! He never called me Calesa in school.
I was always “Callie” to him. 🥰

I love me some Godly Play! 🥰

It’s been around for years, and the children I work with absolutely love it.

In the picture, I told the story of Congressman John Lewis which is a story lesson in Godly Play under “The People of Color Who Inspire”. Many questions have been asked by them about this story.
