Waiting can be hard, especially when we’ve been praying, hoping, and wondering if anything is happening at all.

An early morning sunrise through the fog reminded me of something I needed to ponder: just because we can’t see what God is doing doesn’t mean He isn’t at work.

Sometimes the gift hidden in the waiting is learning to notice His presence along the way.

A new reflection on waiting, trusting, and catching glimpses of God in the ordinary.

What if God is working even when you can’t see it? A reflection on waiting, trusting God’s timing, and noticing His presence along the way.

Hi friends! I'm back!

After taking the summer away from blogging, I'm finally putting words to paper again. Truth be told, the summer didn't unfold quite the way I imagined.

As a dreamer and idealist, I hoped for long walks, quiet mornings, and lots of inspiration. Instead, God gently reminded me that His presence isn't something we have to chase.

Sometimes the greatest inspiration is simply noticing that Jesus has been with us all along.

My newest reflection, "Simply Jesus: Finding God in the Ordinary," is now live. I'd love for you to read it.

Sometimes we search for inspiration in extraordinary places, only to discover that God has been present in the ordinary all along.

God is always with us! We are known by Him. Isn’t that such good news? We don’t have to hide. He knows and loves us. Period!

The heart is like a door.

A door waiting to be opened.

Waiting to be explored.

Waiting to discover rooms long forgotten, places hidden beneath the noise of everyday life and the years that we lose count of.

Many of us spend years standing outside our own hearts—busy, distracted, uncertain of what we might find if we stepped inside.

Yet Jesus stands there too. Not forcing. Not demanding. And not condemning.

Simply knocking.

“Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.”(Revelation 3:20)

The invitation of the spiritual life is not to work harder, but to open the door.

To welcome Christ into every room of the heart—the beautiful places and the wounded ones, the places of joy and the places still waiting for healing.

He enters wherever He is invited.

The question is: Will we open the door?

What is yours to do? This is an exciting question! It's an adventure, because God is full of surprises!
