Pastor Michael T. Holloway is a native of Atlanta, Ga. He is a graduate of Redan High School in St. Mountain, a suburb in Atlanta. Pastor Holloway has earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in biblical studies from Carver Bible College. Pastor Holloway was reared in the Pentecostal church. The Cathedral of Faith COGIC located in SW Atlanta, was where Pastor Holloway was trained in the things of God from
his childhood unto adulthood, to the event of him receiving his call to salvation in March of 1999. It was slightly over two years later at the age of twenty five, that he received his call to the gospel ministry, under the leadership of Pastor Martin Deshaye Johnson. It was approximately three years later at the leading of the Lord, That he transitioned across denominational bounds into the Baptist church, where he received his licensing and ordination under the leadership of Dr. J.E. Hightower, Pastor Emeritus of Elizabeth Baptistist Church, Greater Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church(founder), and the Beleiver's Bible Church. Holloway received his call to pastor God's people in early 2009. After planning and conducting a bible study entitled "Life In The Word", Rev. Holloway transitioned into the assignment that God has ordained for his life. With the help of Ms. Erica Robinson Atkins, Ms. Connie Holloway, and Mr. Johnnie Haugabrook, the Word of Life Christian Family Church was planted on September 25, 2013. After The Lord opened the door, the church was launched on November 10, 2013 at the Andrew and Walter Young Family YMCA, where the church is currently holding service. Having been raised in inner city Atlanta, Pastor Holloway has developed a passion for socioeconomic change with in the Atlanta inner city community. He is zealous for impactful initiatives that transform like communities throughout the world, however Pastor Holloway believes that charity should first begin at home.
