I have been recognized for years of hard work, dedication, and unwavering commitment to service, leadership, and business, and I am truly blown away.

Lord, I thank You.
For every person.
For every stumbling block.
For every delay.
For every plot that came my way
I thank You for proving me over and over and over again.

You are my true guard.
You are my promoter.
And You have begun a great work within me, and I will remain steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord.

To my husband and friend, President, Bishop-Designate, Dr. Varian D. Harris,
a man truly sent by God…
A man who sees leaders for who they are without jealousy, without coveting, without withholding.
A man after God’s own heart. ❤️

I honor your hard work, your dedication, your education, and your unwavering commitment to Initiators Christian University.

My Joy is being Smothered!!!

When your joy feels smothered, it usually means something (or someone… or even a season) is pressing against your peace, your freedom, and your ability to feel light again. Joy doesn’t just disappear randomly.

You’re dealing with disappointment
frustration, or silent hurt. You’re around environments or people that drain you instead of refresh you. You haven’t had space to just be, breathe, or enjoy life.

“I can’t breathe in this space anymore.”

Joy is not just a feeling, it’s spiritual strength.
In Nehemiah 8:10 “The joy of the Lord is your strength.”

So when joy is being smothered:

At times it’s:
* Spiritual warfare (anything attacking your strength)
* Misalignment (you’re operating in places/relationships that don’t match your current season)
* Or emotional exhaustion disguised as “I’m just tired”

Smothered joy doesn’t mean you’ve lost joy.

It means:
Your joy is still there… it just doesn’t have room to breathe.
