Breastfeeding has been one of the most amazing things I’ve ever experienced.

Have I complained about the weight gain? Absolutely. 😅 The hunger is REAL, the cravings are relentless, and my postpartum body is taking me through there 🤪

But if you asked me if I’d do it all over again?

Without hesitation.

Because this bond. This connection. The privilege of nourishing my daughter with my own body…it’s a gift I’ll never take for granted.

Nori, as long as you’re rocking, I’m rolling. 💕 Six months in, and I am SO, SO, SO proud of both of us.

Every latch, every middle-of-the-night feeding, every challenge we’ve worked through together has been worth it.

Lord, thank You. Thank You for sustaining us. Thank You for this privilege. Thank You for every moment we’ve shared on this journey.

Now…if You could help me lose this breastfeeding weight while we’re at it, I’d appreciate that too. 😂

But more than anything…

Thank You, God. Forever and always. 🤍

Nooooooow… I’m not saying I’m a mathematician…🤨🤓🍼

But this Momcozy milk bag says 4 oz, and somehow I only ended up with 2 oz in the bottle?! 😭

The math is NOT mathing🐣🫠

Tell me I’m not the only pumping mama who’s had this happen, because leaving my baby was already hard enough…and this was just disrespectful🥺💔

🚨 We have officially entered the “barricade the couch” chapter. 😂

Y’all remember when you could lay your baby on the couch, run to the bathroom real quick, grab a snack, refill your water, and come back… and they were still exactly where you left them?

WHEW. Those were the good ol’ days 😂🤣😂

Baby girl has unlocked scooting AND rolling, and she is FAST. Like…I looked away for 2.7 seconds and now she’s on a whole different zip code fast😂

Every milestone is exciting, and I truly celebrate every one of them… but nobody told me they happen overnight!

I blink, and she’s halfway across the couch plotting her next move. It now takes sprinter speed just to refill my water bottle and make it back before she’s attempting her next adventure.

So…first-time mommy question…

What are we actually doing now? Are babies just living on the floor from this point forward? Is there some magical couch hack I don’t know about? Or do I simply accept that bathroom trips now require strategic planning? 😂

First-time mommy roll call… what are y’all using to keep these babies safe on the bed and couch while you’re sitting with them? Or is the answer simply, “Welcome to the floor era”?😅

Please send help…and maybe track shoes lol

I don’t know what phase of breastfeeding this is…😂

One minute she’s peacefully eating…
The next she’s grabbing my lips like she’s trying to make sure I stay focused😭🤣

Nobody warned me breastfeeding would become a full-contact sport.

Every week breastfeeding unlocks a new level I didn’t know existed. Motherhood is wild💛

Marriage means falling in love with different versions of the same person over and over again.

I’ve loved every version of you, but my favorite one so far is watching you be Nori’s Daddy.

The way she searches for you when she hears your voice. The way her eyes light up when you walk into the room. The way she smiles at you as if you’re her favorite person in the world.

No matter how tired you are, you always seem to find the energy to play with her, love on her, and make her laugh.

Watching you become a father has made me fall in love with you in an entirely new way.

I hope you enjoyed your first Father’s Day. Nori and I are so blessed to call you ours, and we can’t wait to celebrate you for many more years to come.

We love you so much, Daddy.

Love,
K • N • J ❤️

There was a season when I didn’t need faith to believe God could do it.

I needed faith to believe He would do it for me.

Somewhere between the waiting, the disappointment, and the unanswered questions, I started losing hope.

Not in God.

Just in the possibility that motherhood would ever be part of my story.

Then came Nori 💓 The Most Beautiful Surprise ✨

A reminder that God can fulfill promises long after we’ve stopped trying to figure out how.

If you’re waiting on God for something that feels impossible, don’t give up.

Your story isn’t over yet 🤍

People assume waiting hurts because you’re alone.

But sometimes waiting hurts because hope is exhausting.

You keep believing.

You keep praying.

You keep showing up.

And yet the thing you’re asking God for never seems to get any closer.

If that’s where you are today, know this:

God is not offended by your grief.

He meets you there.

The most dangerous relationships aren’t the toxic ones.

They’re the almost ones.

The almost relationship.
The almost opportunity.
The almost friendship.

Because toxic is obvious.

Almost is confusing.

You keep seeing glimpses of what could be.

When you’ve prayed.
Waited.
Believed.
Cried.
Trusted.

And still can’t see a way.

If that’s you, I want you to know this:

God is not intimidated by your questions, your tears, or your uncertainty.

Keep bringing your heart back to Jesus.

The story isn’t over just because you’re in a chapter you don’t understand. ❤️
