Think On These Things:
We are at a serious crossroads in our country, and our leaders have a moral responsibility to take us from this state of decadence. Even more frightening is the deafening silence of our religious leaders.
Christian sleepers need to be awakened to the reality that America is at an all-time low, spiritually, and morally and our action is suggesting a general acceptance.
As believers, Jesus said of us that we are the salt of the earth. An understanding of this will govern our individual and collective actions, and it will have a great impact on others, our nation, and the world.
Speaking of moral decay. Once we could easily point fingers at our political leaders, but now it is sad that we can lump leaders of all strata of society including religious leaders. My friends, the things we are seeing in our country are terribly bad, but what is worse is our silence.
Micah, in the midst of political and social injustice of his time, stood up, not in opposition but for justice and for truth. And as the people were challenged then, so are we today. "What doth the Lord require of us" To DO JUSTLY, to LOVE MERCY and to WALK HUMBLY with thy God.
