As we approach “2 full rotations around the Sun” (as pastor would say) July 14,2021, since the Homegoing of our beloved Apostle/Founder/Pastor. We look at the example of who he was in all walks of his life. Following the 6 virtues Paul stated in 1 Timothy 6:11 “But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.”
Our leader, walked in the lessons we see thru the life of Paul. As you read through these lessons take a minute of your day to Remember our Apostle, Pastor, Father & Friend on this July 3, 2023 his Heavenly Birthday (71 yrs old) and what lessoned you learned from his walk with christ.
Paul’s spirit was unconquerable (Acts 14)
Paul’s vision for ministry was clear and strategic.
Paul’s faith was deeply rooted in what God had done and revealed through the risen Lord
(1 Corinthians 15:1–2)
Paul believed in and practiced personal mentorship “Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ.” (1 Corinthians 11:1)
Paul loved the Church
Paul preached with authority that came from God.
Paul lived by faith
Paul would write in one of his letters, “we walk by faith, not by sight” (2 Corinthians 5:7). And he would remind us that “the righteous live by faith” (Romans 1:17). Paul worked hard, served well, and preached passionately — but he lived by faith.
Paul believed in the power of prayer.
(Colossians 4:2–4)
Paul knew his own limitations, and his need to depend fully on the Lord. (1 Corinthians 2:3, 4:10)
Paul believed that to be absent from the body was to be present with the Lord. (Philippians 1:21)
Paul believed that this world is temporal and that Jesus is coming back.
Paul showed us how to engage hostility.
Paul had a Living Hope
Because Christ conquered death, hell, and the grave, Paul was confident that everything else would be taken care of. He knew he was not in charge, and he understood that was a good thing. This hope gave Paul (Pastor Daryl Williams) boldness in proclaiming the Gospel (2 Corinthians 3:12)
