STOP calling your acquaintances "Friend" if they are not living up to John 15:13 they are people that you happen to know and spend time with. If you can't trust them they can't be a friend. If they treat you bad and think its ok they are not a friend. if they are holier than thou and treat you as less than, that is not a friend. In this new year spend more time with a real friend and His name is Jesus and he won't let you down he has already laid down His life for you. Now that is a friend.

Lord, you are so awesome there is no one like you. I woke up this morning with a beautiful day that I have never seen before and I heard the birds chirping and the squirrels running through the leaves, things that I never really paid attention to before but today you drew my attention to your awesome creation and made me think of what a mighty God we serve. Thank you, Lord for the things that we sometimes take for granted but thank you more for your mercy and your love.
