The Great Commission - Christians who are doers of Mark 16:15 The Great Commssion Amen (so be it).

Mark 16:15-20
Amplified Bible (AMP)

15And He said to them, Go into all the world and preach and publish openly the good news (the Gospel) to every creature [of the whole [a]human race].

16He who believes [who adheres to and trusts in and relies on the Gospel and Him Whom it sets forth] and is baptized will be saved [[b]from the penalty of ete...rnal death]; but he who does not believe [who does

not adhere to and trust in and rely on the Gospel and Him Whom it sets forth] will be condemned.

17And these attesting signs will accompany those who believe: in My name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new languages;

18They will pick up serpents; and [even] if they drink anything deadly, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will get well.

19So then the Lord Jesus, after He had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven and He sat down at the right hand of God.(A)

20And they went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord kept working with them and confirming the message by the attesting signs and miracles that closely accompanied [it].

God didn’t make any mistakes when He created you. He knew every weakness you would face, yet His grace remains absolute. It’s time to stop letting condemnation anchor you to the past.

To see favor manifest, your mouth must agree with His Word. When negative thoughts say you've failed or aren't enough, aggressively turn them around. Declare that you are forgiven, fearfully made, and surrounded by favor. This world needs your unique light and talent—stop shrinking and start speaking victory over your destiny [cite: There’s a calling on your life, an assignment that only you can accomplish. The people in your life need your gifts, your talent, your smile, your love. This world won’t be as bright a place as it should be without you shining, living the blessed, abundant life that you were created to live].

"The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee." — Numbers 6:25

The enemy’s greatest weapon is to make you feel guilty, inferior, or unqualified to receive God’s promises. But when you become skillful in the Word, you realize that your righteousness is not based on your performance—it is a gift received through Christ Jesus.

You don't have to approach God with a sense of shame or beg Him for your healing, finances, or breakthrough. Because you are established in righteousness, you have a legal right to stand boldly before Him. When you look at yourself through the lens of grace rather than your shortcomings, courage rises, fear breaks, and you position yourself to live in total victory every single day.

"In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear..." — Isaiah 54:14

No matter your profession, keeping your heart full of the Word is your number one priority. The most critical thing you can do daily is make consistent faith deposits—not as a panicked reaction to a crisis, but as a proactive shield. When a sudden storm hits, you won't have time to hunt for a Bible. In those split-second moments, whatever you have hidden deep inside your heart is exactly what will come out.

Every word you speak throughout the day is either working for you or against you. It’s time to shift our focus from worldly security to building a massive reserve of spiritual wealth. When you become a spiritual tycoon overflowing with faith, you completely foil the enemy's schemes and walk in your full inheritance.

"Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee." — Psalm 119:11

When Jesus entered Jerusalem, the triumphant cheers of the crowd masked a deeper, systemic rot. Mark’s Gospel structurally sandwiches the cleansing of the Temple between the cursing and subsequent withering of a fig tree. This was no random act of frustration; it was a living parable. The fig tree had the outward appearance of life—plenty of leaves—but absolutely no fruit. Similarly, the Temple had all the outward leaves of religion, but it had become a fraudulent marketplace rather than a house of prayer. The withering of the tree foretold the spiritual judgment and eventual physical destruction of a system that had ceased to produce what God intended.

This narrative reveals a sobering truth: Jesus judges fruitlessness with immense gravity. God is incredibly patient—Israel’s judgment didn't happen after one bad day—but He expects a return on His investment in our lives. Spiritual fruit can manifest outwardly, such as leading others to Christ, or inwardly, through personal maturity, character growth, and steady obedience. Coasting through life, merely maintaining the "leaves" of a religious routine while accomplishing nothing for the Kingdom, does not please God. We are called to be active, productive branches that consistently bear fruit that remains.

"Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit." — John 15:2

The Apostle Paul issued a sober warning to the church in Corinth to stay on guard against the deceptive schemes of the enemy. The adversary rarely approaches with an obvious warning label; his distractions and lies are often subtle, convincing, and designed to look completely harmless on the surface. However, as a believer, you possess an unfair advantage. You are not left to navigate the complexities of life using your own limited intellect or sight. Because the Holy Spirit resides within you, you have access to the very mind of Christ.

Discernment is the spiritual ability to trace a thought, an opportunity, or a voice back to its true origin. When you face choices that look perfectly fine to the natural eye, the Holy Spirit will often communicate through a gentle check—a subtle uneasiness or an inward witness that warns, "Something isn't right here." To navigate this season successfully, you must actively train your ears to disregard the loud, distracting clamor of the world and tune in to God's still, small voice. By starting each morning asking for wisdom and discernment, you give the Spirit of Truth permission to expose the traps, guide your steps, and keep you firmly anchored on the right path.

"Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come." — John 16:13

One of the most subtle yet destructive barriers to personal breakthrough is a lack of self-acceptance. If you are constantly unhappy with your personality, your appearance, or your pace of progress, you create a perpetual internal conflict. This internal friction breeds a vague, lingering sense of disapproval, making you feel as though you are never quite enough. Because you have to live with yourself every single second of the day, refusing to love who you are guarantees a miserable journey. You cannot hate yourself into a better version of yourself.

True peace begins when you can look in the mirror and declare: "I like myself right now, weaknesses and all." This isn't about ignoring the areas where you need to grow; it is about acknowledging that you are a work in progress, beautifully handcrafted by the Creator. You are not a finished product, and the burden of perfection does not rest on your shoulders. God is the Master Potter, and He is actively molding and shaping your life. When you accept yourself in the present moment, you give yourself permission to relax, enjoy the journey, and allow Him to make the necessary changes in His perfect timing.

"I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well." — Psalm 139:14

When Jesus instructed His disciples to continually forgive someone who wronged them—even up to seven times in a single day—their immediate, gut-reaction wasn't to nod in agreement. Instead, they cried out, “Lord, increase our faith!” They didn’t ask for an increase in faith to part a sea, perform a flashy miracle, or achieve a massive personal dream. They recognized that refusing to harbor bitterness and keeping their hearts free from toxic offenses would require a supernatural supply of divine energy.

We frequently pray for breakthrough faith, financial faith, or mountain-moving faith—and those prayers are entirely valid. But it often takes far more spiritual grit to keep your inner life free from impurities than it does to accomplish an external goal. If you are praying for a new level of blessing, you must also be willing to pray, "God, increase my faith so I can let go of this hurt, forgive the person who betrayed me, and guard my heart." Releasing past wounds and offenses strips them of their power over your future, ensuring that you enter your next season completely light, free, and unburdened.

"And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith. And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root... and it should obey you." — Luke 17:5-6

Just because a promise is invisible to your natural eyes doesn’t mean it isn’t real. If you look into a pitch-black backyard at night, you can't see your patio, but you know it hasn't vanished; you simply need to flip the light switch. Similarly, when we become anxious because we cannot "see" God's promises manifesting, it isn't because His Word has failed. It often means we haven’t spent enough time meditating on the Word for the spiritual light to dawn in our hearts and show us the way.

Joshua 1:8 reveals that prosperity and good success are directly tied to keeping the Word in your mouth and meditating on it day and night so that you may "observe to do." When you deeply ponder the promises, you begin to see them from a spiritual perspective. Instead of letting fear and financial lack dominate your thoughts with "what-ifs," you aggressively counter those thoughts with truth. As you visualize yourself operating in God's economy—giving and receiving—the Holy Spirit uses the Word to paint a brand-new blueprint in your mind. Eventually, courage overwhelms your fear, your perspective changes, and you confidently step into your promised land.

"This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success." — Joshua 1:8

We often associate being "spiritual" with intense prayer, deep study, or the manifestation of supernatural gifts. While those elements have their place, Scripture reveals a challenging truth: you cannot walk in the Spirit or truly be a spiritual person if your life is not entirely ruled by love. Love is not an optional emotional addition to the Christian walk; it is the foundational infrastructure. The overall quality of your spiritual life, your joy, and your peace depends directly on it.
Living a life that is governed by the love of God is the very catalyst that positions you to walk in the Spirit. It is the key that opens the door to the highest measures of God's blessing and power. When you choose to forgive, to serve, and to value others over your own self-interest, you align your frequency with heaven. If you want to see the highest level of God's power operate through your hands, you must first let His love rule your heart.

"But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ." — Ephesians 4:15

Word of the Day!

Jesus completely redefines the boundaries of human limitation in these three powerful encounters. The demon-possessed man was overrun by a legion of spirits, yet Jesus proved that divine authority is never outnumbered. The woman with the issue of blood was a social outcast, but a single touch of His garment brought both physical healing and total societal restoration. Then, with Jairus's daughter, Jesus intentionally delayed His arrival, turning a desperate medical emergency into a breathtaking demonstration of resurrection power.

These miracles prove that Jesus is unmatched in power, but they also expose a crucial question about the crowds surrounding Him. In the Gospels, thousands of people eagerly followed Jesus because He was popular, performed miracles, and provided free food. Yet, when the path required true commitment, the crowds quickly thinned out. The same dynamic exists today. It is easy to be a fan of Jesus—to wear a cross, enjoy the culture, or attend church out of habit. But Jesus is not looking for a fan club; He is looking for followers who are willing to submit to His authority, obey His word, and let Him truly transform their entire lives.

"And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me." — Luke 9:23

Since Jesus is looking for disciples rather than just admirers, what is one practical area of your life today where you can transition from simply "liking the idea" of Him to actively obeying Him?
