Our ministry mission base, Bethany Church of Basarabeasca, Moldova has started to build a garage for the bus we helped purchase for them two years ago. The roof covering cost $850 of which the church has already raised $200. CFM has sent an additional $200 which leaves $450 remaining. Will you help? A gift of any amount is greatly appreciated and will go a long way in helping meet this need. The garage will provide a safe and secure place to park the bus overnight and when it is not in use. The Christian Sports Camp of Bugeac, Moldova is another ministry that CFM has partnered with for several years now. Pastor Yura Deli, owner of the sports camp said, We opened the summer games. This year we had wanted to incorporate trampolines, but were unable to raise enough money. We are going on as before meeting on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. We meet for a Bible lesson, then we play football and other sports games. We are visited by 30 - 50 children and young people each day. CFM is sending $100 each month to help with the gym expenses. Posted • Partners, thank you so much for responding to our call in assisting the local church in southern Moldova care for Ukrainian refugees. I spoke with the pastor at our missions base and this was the report as he recalled the events of the past several weeks.

From February 22 to March 6, an active flow of refugees from Ukraine to Moldova passed through our customs. They arrived with large families and expected to wait 3-4 days and then return home. Then we learned that they were offered to go to Germany. Many have left their houses and apartments in Ukraine and fled to Germany. There has been a steady stream of people and cars directed through our village day and night. Some arrived during the day, others at night. Many families lived in the church, while others in our house. One family had 8 children, the other 11 children. During the week from 7 to 11 March, the flow of refugees has decreased.

We pray for Ukraine, that God will stop the war and give peace to the country. We received the financial support and we sincerely thank you for your great help for the church. We can buy fuel for the transportation of other refugees, as well as food, and pay for the increased utilities of the church. Thank God for your generous heart helping refugees from Ukraine. May God reward each of you more and bless you abundantly.

Our ministry is partnering with the local church in southern Moldova to care for the many Ukrainian refugees seeking safety and shelter. Because our mission base is in a border crossing town, we are in a very strategic location to offer immediate assistance as families enter the country. Many are frightened and exhausted from having traveled in extreme winter conditions and this is their first stop in reaching safety. They are given a place to sleep and warm meals to eat as they restrengthen before continuing westward. I am told that many are not believers, and this is an opportunity for us to be the hands of Jesus extended.

We stand with our brothers and sisters in Ukraine.

It is with a heavy heavy heart that I ask you to please pray for these precious people tonight.

It was just a few months ago that I stood on the border of this country as our missions base is less than a mile from Ukraine.
