Yesterday, we celebrated our 10th anniversary of moving to Ireland! What an incredible journey it has been! It is truly a privilege to serve the Lord here in Mallow. This day also would not be possible without you all. “Thank you” feels insufficient, but please know our hearts are so grateful to each of you. Your love, prayers, and support allow us to continue on here. Whether you’ve been around since day one or have come alongside us recently, thank you! We love y’all and we look forward to the next decade!

“The Lord hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.” Psalm 126:3

Happy St. Patrick’s Day from Mallow! We were able to walk in our town parade and represent our church. The weather made it a proper Irish March day! 😂

Today was Mother’s Day in Ireland and it was a full house! We are thankful for each of these women and the families they represent. It is a privilege and a joy to be a small part of what the Lord continues to do here in Mallow!

This evening, we are hosting a one night teen conference with the help of a visiting church group. We have 26 teens already at the event! Please pray as the Gospel will be shared and teens will be challenged with the Word of God. This is also our first big push for promoting Camp VP, we are excited for what the Lord is doing with our teens here in Mallow!

It’s official!! Our fire certificate was approved today!! This has been a long process but we are rejoicing in the Lord’s faithfulness each step of the way. From here, we are able to start making long-awaiting building changes and apply for our disability access certification. Thank you all for praying!

We received some amazing news today in regards to our fire certificate application! We are ONE small step away from approval for our application. We have had to make some small changes but honestly, these are fairly insignificant in the grand scheme of things. Originally, there were some potential issues that would have required huge changes but they have not been needed. Please continue to pray this would be be finalised shortly. We will then be able to proceed with our disability access permit and start some much-awaited and needed renovations in the building!

One of the bittersweet things about working with teenagers is sending them off as they become adults. It’s always a shock to us when they have the audacity to graduate from our youth group. 😂 But there are few things more thrilling to us than when we get to watch those teens continue to serve the Lord. Last night, I was invited to speak to the student Christian Union at University College Cork. What made this so special was that two of our former teens are serving as student officers with this great organization. On a campus of 26,000 students, they are helping to lead other believers in reaching their peers with the Gospel! We are so thankful to see fruit that remains through the Lord’s work here in Ireland!

I just wanted to give an update on Emily. She has been able to stretch out doses of pain reliever, and things seem to be healing. Unfortunately, she is still experiencing some nerve pain on both sides of her face. We are praying this is part of the normal process and that it will resolve as she heals. If not, it could indicate that her nerve pain is spreading to the other side of her jaw. Please continue to lift her up in prayer as she heals and for wisdom for future medical intervention for her trigeminal neuralgia.

Thank you all SO much for your prayers. Emily is safely back home and resting. The extraction went well, and the doctor said it closed up nicely. Please continue to pray that she has minimal pain over the next several weeks and for complete healing for her trigeminal neuralgia. Thank you again for your care and concern for her.

Please be in special prayer for Emily tomorrow at 9am EST as she undergoes a tooth extraction. This is the result of her body launching an auto-immune response to that tooth. While perfectly healthy on the outside, her body is attacking it from the inside. Unfortunately, this procedure could easily set off even greater pain in her mouth due to her trigeminal neuralgia. The surgeon has warned her that she could be in heightened pain for up to four weeks, at which point her pain should return to her pre-operation levels.

Please pray specifically that she will have a routine extraction, no complications in recovery or post-operative care (especially dry socket), and even for a miracle that she will be completely healed and pain free. We trust the Lord to care for her and provide her with everything she needs. Thank you so much for your prayers!

Today, several members of our church were able to go to a local nursing home and spend some time singing to the residents and fellowshipping with them. It was a blessing seeing many of our kids get to experience this ministry! We had a wonderful time and we are excited for this open door. We are looking forward to future opportunities here to continue to share God’s love!
