Some things never change! These pictures are almost exactly 9 years apart at Holiday Bible Clubs. We always love having CBT here and they are always a blessing to us. Yesterday, we had even more kids and ended the day with 54 kids!

“Oikos Camp 2026” is a wrap! We had a wonderful time together that truly exceeded what we could have ever hoped for. We had over 100 people throughout the camp- several families stayed overnight, some came for a service or two, the group from Indiana, and we even had neighbours of the lodges come! The fellowship of believers was sweet- we had many cultures and many generations represented yet we were united with a common bond- Jesus. Games were played, songs were sung, food was eaten, the Word of God was shared. We also had two ladies trust Christ as their Saviour; what an incredible blessing! We are already looking ahead to doing it again next year!

We could not have done this without our group from Liberty- a huge thank you to them for their willingness to serve well! They were amazing and jumped right in wherever they could. Thank you also to everyone who prayed, we were especially thankful for a camp with no mass sickness! Ha!

John is in Dublin today for two reasons. He dropped Brian and Monica off as they follow the Lord to Puerto Rico and then walked over to arrivals to welcome our team from Indiana! This is a special group to us as they are from the church we served at before heading to Ireland. They will be helping us to facilitate our first ever “church camp” this week! Please keep Brian and Monica in your prayers as they travel and transition to their new field. And please pray for the group and the camp that will be happening this week!

The second pic is my current planning! The fridge is full, the van is full, and our house is full! Groups and camps require a great deal of food and meal prep but it is so worth it!

We are heading home from Camp VP! It’s been a great week and we saw the Lord work. Several teens trusted Christ as their Saviour and many others made decisions in their Christian walk. We had an unpleasant virus that joined us so please continue to pray for the team from Texas and those of us from Mallow. For health as they recover and for those who are well to stay well. We can’t wait to share more stories once we get home and get some sleep!

5 DAYS!!!!! The countdown is on and it is crunch time. We have been planning for months and now we are in the home stretch of putting all of those plans into place. We have 36 teens from Mallow signed up! Our team from Texas flies out Friday and will land (Lord willing!) on Saturday morning. Please continue to pray for Camp VP and for all involved!

We are deeply saddened by the loss of one of our members, Jennifer. Jennifer has been a part of MBF longer than we have! If you've ever visited us, there is a good chance you have gotten to meet her and see her smile! While we grieve the loss, we rejoice in the hope of Heaven! Please keep her friends and family in your prayers in the coming days.

One year ago, we were rejoicing because Brian’s visa had been approved after an almost two year wait. Brian and Monica landed here in August and have been an incredible blessing over the last year. Unfortunately, Monica was never able to secure a visa despite EVERY possible avenue being taken. Brian and Monica will be leaving Ireland at the end of July BUT continuing on to Puerto Rico to continue to serve the Lord. We love Brian and Monica dearly and it’s hard to put into words what a joy it’s been to have them serve here with us. We are sad to see them leave but we will rejoice just as we did a year ago. It’s not what any of us wanted but we clearly see the Lord’s direction on their lives and we know they will continue to serve Him, no matter where they are. Please pray for them in the weeks and months ahead. They are continuing to serve here until they leave while also wrapping up all of the things needed to move!

Our main room isn’t the only place filling up at church! This was our teen class yesterday! We are anxiously awaiting the day when we will be able to compete the renovations upstairs to provide our classes with much needed space!
