I don’t know about you but it seems like the past several months have just been extremely trying for several people I know. I’ve seen my share of health issues and job concerns. I’ve listened to concerns about finances and relationships. All I could do in each situation is remind my friends of the goodness of God’s love and grace and encourage them to keep going on. Father, as I sit here today looking out my windows, I am reminded of your everlasting love and protection. Our day is cloudy and overcast, but occasionally the beautiful sunshine peeks through the clouds and brightens the day. Lord, our lives sometimes enter those cloudy times when everything seems dark and stormy. Never let us forget that your sunshine and warmth are never far behind. In Jesus’s name we pray, AMEN. Psalm 18:9: “He parted the heavens and came down; dark clouds were under his feet.”

Father, this week we pray for those who may have lost hope. Lord, for those who feel as if they have reached a dead end, you can lengthen their journey. Father, there are many who suffer from employment and don’t know where to turn. I pray that you will open doors in ways they have never imagined and meet their financial needs in miraculous ways. Lord, many have health concerns and are living with the uncertainty of tomorrow or their future. Father, you are the great healer and we pray Your will be done in every situation. Lord, there are others who suffer from depression and hopelessness. I pray that You encourage them; lift them up; and wrap your Heavenly arms around them. Most of all Father, we exalt you for who you are and pray for your mercy, your grace, and your love in all that we do, in Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
