When a snake can't get to you or your ministry because of God’s Hand resting on your life, they shoot their VENOM by attempting to poison other people against you.
The very ones that used to be in fellowship with you (before the snake got to them) will sometimes give you a cold shoulder, or even completely shut you out - based on what they heard from the snake - and not what they heard from YOU.
A poisonous snake will sit back and watch you from a distance, hoping to see your downfall.
Once they see that you are STILL standing, in spite of what they have done, said, thrown or slung at you, their next step is to attack your character, your integrity, and your ministry..
*They will bring up your past as if you're still living there!
*They will make up lies in order to try and discredit you!
*They will slander you, and do all that they can to convince others to take up their cause against you!
*They will attempt to destroy all your credibility!
*They will encourage everyone they can not to even fellowship with you!
*If they can't kill you, they'll try to kill your NAME and your TESTIMONY!
⚠️ Kill the snake by starving it to death! That’s right- DON’T. FEED. IT.
That means that, other than praying over it, don’t waste your time, energy, thoughts or emotions on the snake. It will only be a distraction to the things you actually need to be giving your precious time and energy to.
Don’t worry about trying to set the record straight. Let the LORD defend you. He already promised that NO WEAPON formed against you would prosper, and at the end of the day, if they’ve taken up arms against you, they’ve taken up arms against GOD. He will defeat the snake! Don’t cry or fret over those who choose to drink the snake’s venom; they are actually only poisoning themselves. Don’t feed the snake, and don’t give its venom ANY power in your life!⚠️
“But in that coming day no weapon turned against you will succeed. You will silence every voice raised up to accuse you. These benefits are enjoyed by the servants of the Lord; their vindication will come from Me. I, the Lord, have spoken!”
