Impact France mobilizes prayer for and facilitates giving to French ministries. We are a fiscal sponsor for French ministry projects and have an annual prayer campaign to help Americans know about, pray for, and give to national French ministries.

⛪️ Planting hope in Picardy! For nearly 50 years, the Church of the Bay of Somme has been the only Christian witness within a 50-kilometre radius — rooted in the Gospel, walking with those around them so their friends, colleagues, and neighbours may encounter Jesus Christ. Two years ago, they sold their outgrown building and found a new home next to Abbeville Hospital, a former café/bar in a busy, high-traffic neighbourhood, perfect for reaching their city. Renovations are underway, but they still need €40,000 to finish the work and open a space twice as spacious and accessible to all.

In Focus: The Boulangerie 🇫🇷

Each morning across France, the boulangerie opens its doors with the warm scent of fresh bread and pastries drifting into the streets.

It’s more than a shop — it’s a daily rhythm of community, where neighbors gather, conversations begin, and simple moments are shared.

At Impact France, we’re reminded that some of the most meaningful ministry happens in everyday places, through everyday encounters.

Last night, millions across France stepped outside together to witness a once-in-a-generation eclipse. For a few minutes, the whole country passed from darkness into light — and stood in awe.

It's a moment we can't help but see through another lens. Long before eclipses were understood, the prophet wrote:

"The people walking in darkness have seen a great light." — Isaiah 9:2

France paused last night to watch the sun return. We're praying for something greater — that the people of this beautiful nation would see the true Light that never goes out: Jesus Christ.

⚽️ Sharing the Gospel through sports

Holistic Sports is an association dedicated to serving sports professionals in France (including elite athletes, coaches, physical education teachers, and others). They offer chaplaincies in French sports clubs and at major sporting events; spiritual support such as mentoring and Bible studies; and resources such as books, podcasts, an app, and conferences.

Founded in 2023, this congregation’s mission is to know Christ and make Him known. With God’s Word at the center of everything they do, they equip each other to become more like Jesus. They’re building a family where everyone has a place, is shown God’s love, and is encouraged to use their God-given gifts to show His love to those around them. They also offer various internships, from short-term to full-time commitments, where participants explore God’s call on their lives.

This church family is deeply committed to the welfare of their community in the Grenoble area with services such as a food bank and resources for the homeless. Their congregation is growing, along with the needs of the people around them. They’re expanding their building to accommodate more outreach initiatives including a solidarity restaurant, temporary shelters for families in crisis, and gathering space for their services and community events.
