What Is Prophecy For?

📖 “But the one who prophesies speaks to people for their strengthening, encouraging and comfort.” — 1 Corinthians 14:3

✨ Edification – To build up, strengthen, and help someone grow spiritually.

✨ Exhortation – To encourage, motivate, and inspire someone to keep moving forward in God's purpose.

✨ Comfort – To bring hope, peace, and reassurance during difficult seasons.

Biblical prophecy is not about tearing people down—it is about partnering with the Holy Spirit to build up, encourage, and comfort God's people.

What Is the Gift of Prophecy?

The gift of prophecy is the Holy Spirit's ability to give a message that strengthens, encourages, and comforts others according to God's heart. It is not primarily about predicting the future, but about communicating what God is saying to bring hope, direction, and spiritual growth. As believers spend time with God, they can learn to recognize His voice and share His words with wisdom, humility, and love.

Today we celebrate 60 years of God's faithfulness, wisdom, grace, and enough life experience to know when someone is about to make a bad decision before they make it!

At 60, you're not getting older—you're becoming a classic, a collector's edition, a limited release that only gets more valuable with time.

You've spent decades speaking life into others, activating gifts, cultivating purpose, and helping people hear God's voice. And let's be honest, after 60 years, you've probably earned the right to finish people's sentences and tell them, "I told you so!" 😆

Happy Mother’s Day to every mother, spiritual mother, grandmother, and woman carrying the promise of God in her heart.

Joseph named his son Ephraim, saying, “God has made me fruitful in the land of my affliction” (Genesis 41:52). What a powerful declaration for mothers everywhere. Many women have carried families through seasons of sacrifice, tears, disappointment, silent prayers, and unseen battles—yet God still calls you fruitful.

Isaiah 54:1 says:

“Sing, barren woman… burst into song, shout for joy…”

This scripture is not only about physical children, but about purpose, legacy, spiritual fruit, and the promises of God. Some mothers have nurtured children naturally, spiritually, emotionally, and even through mentorship. Your labor has not been in vain.

This Mother’s Day, we honor the women who kept loving through affliction, kept praying through pain, and kept believing God in barren seasons. The Lord sees every seed you planted, every sacrifice you made, and every tear you cried.

May this be your Ephraim season—a season of fruitfulness, restoration, joy, and overflow.

Happy Mother’s Day to the women who never gave up. 🌸
