Engaging in spiritual experiences relevant to the next generation of Christians
Address
Atlanta, GA
General information
The generation of Joshua was called to lead the Children of Israel "across the Jordan" and into the "Promised Land.” As young adults, we have also been called to do a great work. The road may have been paved by our spiritual ancestors, but it is up to us to share the living gospel of Jesus Christ to the world. Joshua Generation is a ministry of motivated young adults that understand the next generation of Christians' needs to experience God and the gospel in a more meaningful, tangible way. We will minister in a way that is relevant to our generation and that will continue the work of spreading the invigorating gospel of Jesus. We plan to: 1) Promote unity amongst young adults at Decatur SDA Church and the metro Atlanta area 2) Serve our church 3) Serve our community 4) Provide nontraditional forms of ministry and worship to enrich our relationship with Christ and to help others foster stronger or new relationships with our Creator "Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their forefathers to give them. Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go." -Joshua 1:6-9
