Do you have a rising 6th grader?

Make sure they join us THIS Sunday! It’s their final Sunday on UpStreet before moving up to Transit, plus they’ll get a sneak peak into Transit during their UpStreet hour!

Middle school is just around the corner for your 5th grader, and that jump can be exciting and scary at the same time! We know you want to help your student have the best experience possible in the season ahead.

Transit is here to help!

Transit Test Drive is designed to give you a sneak peek at our environment and fill you in on ways you can expect Transit to partner with you over the next three years.

Here’s how it works:
1. Sunday, May 17th, drop off your student in UpStreet like usual.
2. Head to Transit where the 5th-grade class will get the VIP treatment.
(Shh! It’s a surprise.) 🤫🤐
3. Stay for a quick, parents-only meeting once students head to small group.
4. Pick up your student in UpStreet after the service.
Give each other a high five. You’ve both made it to middle school!!

THIS morning on UpStreet your kids got their very own GIVE, SAVE, SPEND labels!

God wants us to have a plan for the money we get. At home, help them find some envelopes or jars and put one label on each one. Then, whenever they earn money, they can decide how much they want to GIVE, SAVE, and SPEND and put that amount in each envelope/jar. Because whenever we get or earn money, it’s good to remember that we should Give to God first.

When we give to God first, it shows that NOTHING—no toy, game, or event—is more important than him. Remember that where our treasure is, our heart will be also!

Even after Easter, we’re still talkjng about Jesus being ALIVE! Believing is deciding that you KNOW it’s true and praying and telling Jesus that you believe in him and want to follow him.

Jesus gave his friends so much proof that he was alive, they couldn’t stop talking about it. And because they saw him and believed, that’s why we’re still talking about Jesus right now on UpStreet more than 2,000 years later. Because people kept telling people that it’s true. Jesus wants US to believe in him!
