On UpStreet, we believe the Bible should never be boring, worship can be really loud and good leaders always care. Before kids head off to middle school, we want to make sure these three things stick...

1. I can trust God no matter what.
3. I should treat others the way I want to be treated. The focus on UpStreet is our small group environment. We want kids to see how God's word fits into their lives, to learn how talk to Him, and to build friendships that will last. That's why it's important to make sure your child connects with the same friends, same leader, at the same hour - EVERY SUNDAY!

Patience is HARD!

It’s way easier in most situations to lose your cool, am I right parents?!?! But our big idea this month is PATIENCE.

This morning we continued talking about RESPONSIBILITY on UpStreet! Which might sound boring… but it’s SO important.

Sometimes you don’t want to do the things that need to be done. But those little things ARE important. Responsibility is a big deal to God. Which means it should be a big deal to us too. When we prove we can be trusted with a little bit of responsibility, we might be given more! We have the opportunity to level up our responsibility game every. single. day. 😎

This morning we launched a new big idea for this month: RESPONSIBILITY!

Just like Lando, we all have things we’re responsible for (like cleaning your room😷🍦🤢). But this morning we talked all about how when you can be trusted to do the little things, then you can be trusted with BIG things (hint: sounds like our verse of the month😉)!

Today on UpStreet we’re talking ALLLL about the armor of God! So guess what you and I have to do? Every day we need to choose to “put on the armor of God.” Every day, we need to have faith and remind ourselves what’s true about God—that he’s with us, he loves us, and he wants to help us. Every day, we need to remember that we belong to God’s team, and that he’s stronger than anything. And everyday, we need to know what the Bible says so we can make the wise choice. Every day, we need to put on the armor of God because God will help you stand strong.
