Thanksgiving and Christmas are almost upon us. It becomes easy to reach out to needy people during this time of the year, helping feed the poor, buying presents for loved ones and those in need. We are thankful for what God has blessed us with. Everyday we should be praying to God for direction and thanking him for loving us by returning the blessings we have received. -----------------------------------------------------------------------The end of all things in near. Therefore be clear minded and self-controlled so that you can pray. Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in it's various forms. If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen. 1 Peter 4:7-11

Diane and I went back to World Outreach Church in Murfreesboro, TN last weekend for the last weekend of their Fall Festival. We love this church and pastor Allen Jackson. The guest artist was Big Daddy Weave. The outdoor worship was amazing on Saturday night and again Sunday morning in the sanctuary. We plan on going back again for their Spring Festival. Diane and I took a trip this past weekend to World Outreach Church in Murfreesboro Tennessee. We watch the weekly television broadcast and wanted to visit during their outdoor Spring Festival.
Pat Barrett was leading the worship Saturday night and then again during the Sunday morning service. Pastor Allen Jackson preached an awesome message. We stayed for the Sunday service and returned back home on Monday. World Outreach Church is located about 35 minutes SE of Nashville. We suggest you visit this awesome church if you live close or are visiting the area. They hold the Spring Festival every weekend during April and May and are planning a Fall Festival. We are in the process of taking The Gospel Message on the road! The Lord has blessed us with an incredible new (used) motor home and soon we will be heading out to share God's message with everyone we meet. In a few weeks we are off to North Carolina to pick up a new car trailer to tow behind the Bus and to visit with Glenn's Brother in Asheville. We have not planned our trip beyond there, but we are in prayer about our direction.

We were very blessed to find lodging in Lake Charles, LA. This enabled us to help a few home owners there with the massive clean-up that is needed. We spent 3 days clearing fallen trees and debris and meeting some awesome people.
It began with a desire to be available without knowing what to expect. As I grow closer to God I have become more aware of the need to just TRUST Him with everything. I tend to always work on a plan before moving forward. God is teaching me more every day that He has my back and I don't need to be as concerned about the hourly details. Just be available to be his hands and move forward. God will bring his plan together in incredible ways.

Our group of 10 volunteers left Woodstock knowing where we were going to stay our first night, but not knowing all of the details. We did not know where we would stay the second, third and fourth night but we moved forward. As it turned out we had great accommodations and met some great Christians. Thank you Lord, and thanks to all who helped make our trip successful!

We have been planning a trip to Lake Charles, LA to help clear fallen trees and debris left over from the recent hurricane, and to minister to people in any way The Lord guides us. We are ready to go but can't find any place to stay. Our 5 day trip requires 4 nights lodging for 10 volunteers and all of the motels and campgrounds within 150 miles of Lake Charles are booked. We are willing to sleep in tents if required as long as we have running water for a shower at the end of the day. Please pray that The Father will open the door to a fabulous place to stay in Louisiana not too far from the disaster sites.
