God had not changed His mind about you

You already know what the next step is.

You’ve thought about it.

You’ve delayed it.

You’ve told yourself
you’ll get to it.

You’ve said,
“I’ll start tomorrow.”

“I just need a little more time.”

“Let me handle a few other things first.”

And before you know it,
days turn into months,
months turn into years…
and the step is still waiting.

Progress doesn’t come
from thinking about the step.
It comes from taking it.

Today is a good day
to make the call,
complete the assignment,
submit the application,
or take that first step
toward what you’ve been putting off.

And if you need guidance,
my Conquer Procrastination course
is available to help you move forward
with clarity and direction.

So what is the next step?

Not ten steps.
Not a full plan.
Just the next step.

Progress doesn’t come
from doing everything at once.

It comes from identifying
the one thing
that will move you forward.

For some, it’s making the call
they’ve been putting off.

For others, it’s starting the assignment
that’s been sitting there.

For some, it’s sending the
email, completing the paperwork,
or following up on something they said they would do.

And for others, it’s finally committing
to the goal
they’ve been delaying.

Clarity begins when you decide your next step and act on it.

Over 14 years ago, while I was a nurse practitioner student, one of the most influential people I met along the way was one of my preceptors, a well-established physician who left a lasting impression on me professionally and personally.

A few weeks ago, a nurse practitioner colleague asked if I would be willing to cover for a physician in a primary care office. She explained that another nurse practitioner friend had first been asked, but was unavailable.

I said, “Sure… which doctor and where?”

To my complete surprise and awe, she told me the doctor’s name and it was the very same physician who had once poured into me as a student years ago.

Without hesitation, I gladly said yes. I cleared my schedule for two weeks without blinking an eye.

Today, I continue to return to her office whenever I am available, volunteering my skills and abilities to help serve the community she cares for so faithfully.

For me, this experience has been deeply rewarding. It allows me to continually sharpen my clinical skills while also giving back through service and impact.

Life has a beautiful way of coming full circle.

Never underestimate the value of pouring into others. The seeds you plant today may one day return in ways you never imagined.

Keep serving. Keep mentoring. Keep giving.

Someone you encourage today may become the very person who returns to support, strengthen, or serve alongside you tomorrow.
Have a blessed day.

This week, I noticed something.

Many people are
working hard,
staying busy,
and doing everything they can...

Yet they still feel stuck.

Not because they lack ability.
Not because they lack motivation.
But because they are doing many things
without a clear next step.

Handling responsibilities,
staying busy all day,

yet putting off the important task
that would move them closer
to the vision and goals

they truly want.

Progress begins
when we stop reacting to everything

and start acting intentionally
on what matters most.

Knowing your purpose
is powerful.
But purpose alone
does not create progress.

Action does.

Many people have goals.
Many people have dreams.
But progress begins
when we take consistent steps
toward what matters most...

making intentional decisions,

following a clear plan,

and committing to progress

one step at a time.

Through my Conquer Procrastination course,

I guide individuals

to turn purpose into action

and action into real progress.

And my course is available to you if you're ready to take that next step.

Being busy is not the same as making progress.

You can stay active all day and still feel stuck.

Progress is not only about activity.

It’s about direction.

A key part of overcoming procrastination is

discovering your purpose

understanding why your work matters,

what you are truly working toward,

and how your daily actions connect to the bigger picture you want to create.

When your purpose is clear,
your decisions become easier
and your next step becomes obvious.

Through my Conquer Procrastination course,

I guide individuals

step by step

to uncover their purpose
,
gain clarity,

and move forward with confidence.

Progress is not always fast.

Sometimes it feels slow.

Sometimes it feels uncertain.

But every step you take
is still moving you forward.

A key part of overcoming procrastination
is learning to

stay the course,

continuing to show up,

remaining committed,

and trusting the process
even when results take time.

Growth does not happen overnight.
It happens step by step.

Not everything we hold on to
is meant to stay.

Sometimes progress requires
the courage to let go.

Let go of distractions.

Let go of habits
that no longer serve you.

Let go of commitments
that drain your time and energy.

One principle I often emphasize
in my work on Conquer Procrastination
is the importance of

knowing when to quit

having the wisdom to recognize
when something is no longer supporting your progress

and having the courage
to release it intentionally.

Because letting go
is not failure.

It is growth.
