What we believe in.
1. We believe that there is one living and true God, eternally existing in three persons – God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ) and God the Holy Ghost. The Trinity are equal in every divine perfection, and they execute distinct but harmonious offices in the work of creation, providence and redemption (Genesis 1:26; Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 3:16-17, 28:19; John 1:1-3; II Corinthians 13:14; I John 5:7).
2. We believe in the five Fundamentals of the faith. We believe in the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ. John 1:1; John 20:28; Hebrews 1:8-9. We believe in the Virgin birth. Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23; Luke 1:27.
The Blood Atonement. Acts 20:28; Romans 3:25; Romans 5:9; Ephesians1:7; Hebrews 9:12-14. The Bodily Resurrection.
Luke 24:36-46; 1 Corinthians 15:1-4; 1Corinthians 15:14-15. The Inerrancy of the Scriptures. Psalms 12:6-7; Romans 15:4; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20.
3. We believe that eternal life with God in heaven is a portion of the reward of the finally righteous; and that everlasting banishment from the presence of the Lord and unending torture in hell are the wages of the persistently wicked (Matthew 25:46; Psalm 9:17; Revelation 21:7,.
4. We believe that Jesus Christ shed His blood for the remission of sins that are past, for the regeneration of penitent sinners, and for salvation from sin and from sinning (Romans 3:25; John 3:5-10; Ephesians 2:1-10).
5. We believe, teach and firmly maintain the scriptural doctrine of justification by faith alone (Romans 5:1).
6. We believe that Jesus Christ shed His blood for the complete cleansing of the justified believer from all indwelling sin and from its pollution, subsequent to regeneration (1 John 1:7-9).
7. We believe in sanctification.
Sanctification subsequent to the new birth, through faith in the blood of Christ; through the Word, and by the Holy Ghost.
Sanctification subsequent to justification. Romans 5:2; 1 Corinthians 1:30; 1 Thessalonians 4:3; Hebrews 13:12. Luke 1:75; 1 Thessalonians 4:7; Hebrews 12:14.
8. We believe that the baptism of the Holy Ghost is obtainable by a definite act of appropriating faith on the part of the fully cleansed believer, and the initial evidence of the reception of this experience is speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance (Luke 11:13; Acts 1:5; 2:1-4; 8:17; 10:44-46; 19:6).
9. We believe in divine healing as in the atonement (Isaiah 53:4, 5; Matthew 8:16, 17; Mark 16:14-18; James 5:14-16; Exodus 15:26).
10. We believe in the personal and visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ to Earth. We teach and preach the Pre-Tribulation Rapture and the Pre-Millennial Return of Christ. We believe in the resurrection of the body, the final judgment, the eternal felicity of the righteous, and the endless suffering of the wicked (I Corinthians 15:51-58; I Thessalonians 4:13-18; I Thessalonians 5:1-9; Revelation 19-22).
11. We believe it is the responsibility of every believer to dedicate his or her life to carrying out the work of the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 16:15-20; Acts 1:8).
12. We Believe that we are save by grace through faith. God's Word says that we are saved by grace through faith in Christ Jesus and not by our own efforts or works (Ephesians 2:8-9) If you believe that Jesus Christ is Lord and he died on the cross for your sins and you shall be saved. Acts 16:31; Romans 10:9; 2 Timothy 1:9; Acts 2:21.
13. We firmly believe in the gospel according to 1Corinthians 15:1-4.
14. We believe that holiness living is the Biblical standard for God’s people
and modesty in dress.
1Timothy 2:9-10; 1 Peter 3:3-4; Deuteronomy 22:5; 1 Corinthians 11:14;
1 Peter 1:16; Romans 12:2; 1 Peter 1:15-16).
15. We believe that all Christians should be baptized in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Ghost.
Matthew 28:19).
16. We believe that Christians should be thankful to God when nations reflect godly virtue, and their governmental systems protect ordered liberty (Proverbs 14:34; 29:2; Romans 13:4; 1 Timothy 2:1-3). However, regardless of the blessings that their nations afford, believers’ ultimate love and loyalty must be to the Christ(Matthew 10:37).
17. We believe In the beginning God created Adam and Eve, male and female respectively, as taught by Genesis 1 and 2 and as affirmed by Jesus Christ (Matt. 19:4–5) and by the apostle Paul (1 Tim. 2:13). As with the rest of the created order, the nature of mankind as male and female is by the will of God and for the purpose of glorifying Him (Rev. 4:11). The creation of mankind in two genders is especially important because it is a central aspect of the image of God in Man (Gen. 1:27–28; 5:1–2). As image-bearers, men and women are of equal worth and dignity (Exod. 21:28; 35:29; Prov. 31:30; Matt. 26:13), of equal moral responsibility before God (Lev. 20:27; Num. 5:6–7; Mark 10:11–12), and equally heirs of salvation and spiritual blessing in Christ Jesus (Luke 7:47–50; 2 Cor. 6:18; Gal. 3:28; 1 Pet. 3:7). However, God also made them different in strength, disposition, and function (1 Pet. 3:7; Isa. 49:15; 1 Cor. 11:7–12), and He intends that they interact harmoniously in a complementary fashion to glorify Him (Gen. 1:28; 2:18; Prov. 31:10–12; Eph. 5:22–33; Col. 3:18–19).
18. Marriage is the exclusive God ordained institution between one man (husband) and one woman (wife) in a mutually consented “one-flesh” relationship, consisting of mutually supportive companionship and physical union (Gen. 1:27; 2:24; 1 Cor. 7:1–6; Rom. 1:26–27). Marriage is a monogamous, heterosexual, covenant relationship between the man and the woman, which is intended to be lifelong and which is publicly entered into before God as witness and enforcer (Prov. 2:17; Mal. 2:16; Matt. 19:6) and recognized by God’s institution of human government (Deut. 22:13–17; Gen. 29:25–26; Rom. 13:1; Matt. 22:21).
19. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ has committed two ordinances to the local church: Baptism and the Lord’s Supper. We believe that Christian baptism is the complete immersion of a believer in water in the name of the triune God. The act is a testimony of our faith in a crucified, buried and risen Savior. We believe that the Lord’s Supper was instituted by Christ for commemoration of His death. We believe that these two ordinances should be observed and administered until the return of the Lord Jesus Christ (Acts 8:34-39; Romans 6:3-5; I Corinthians 11:23-26).
20. We believe in the universal church, a living spiritual body of which Christ is the head and all regenerated persons are members. We believe in the local church, consisting of a company of believers in Jesus Christ, baptized on a credible profession of faith, and associated for worship, work, and fellowship. We believe that God has laid upon the members of the local church the primary task of giving the gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost world (Matthew 16:16-18; Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:8; Acts 2:41-43; Acts 20:28; Ephesians 5:25-30; Colossians 1:18; I Thessalonians 4:13-18; I Timothy 3:4-15).
21. We believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, and teachings. We believe in His substitutionary atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, perpetual intercession for His people, and personal visible return to earth (Isaiah 9:6; Matthew 1:25; Mark 16:19; Luke 1:26-35; John 1:1-3; John 3:16; John 14:3; Romans 3:19-25; Romans 5:6-15; II Corinthians 5:21; Philippians 2:5-11; I Timothy 2:5; Hebrews 7:25, 26).
