Please be advised that Lovejoy Road will be temporarily closed on Saturday, October 3, 2026, for the Lovejoy High School Homecoming Parade! 🏫🎉

Exact Location: Lovejoy Rd at the Walmart entrance towards Panhandle Rd.

⏰ 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM
📍 Lovejoy Road

The road closure will begin at approximately 9:00 AM and is expected to conclude by 10:00 AM. The parade and road closure will be monitored by the Lovejoy Police Department to help ensure the safety of participants, spectators, and motorists. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead, allow additional travel time, and use alternate routes during the closure.

Honest answer: because it works. Because someone skeptical of “church people” will click a link before they’ll ever walk through a door. Because we don’t need a building to be real to each other.

We’re a small, honest, still-figuring-it-out group of people who show up, talk back during the message instead of just sitting through it, and actually pray for each other — not the polished version, the real one.

And if you never join us — if this is just a video you scroll past — we still want to pray for you. That’s not a sales pitch. We’re a praying church before we’re anything else, presence over property, every time.

The One Warm Coat drive at The Millar Law Firm ends Wednesday, and everything collected stays right here in Metro Atlanta.They're taking new and gently worn coats in all sizes, plus unworn hats, scarves, and gloves.

One Warm Coat's idea is simple: shelter from the elements is a basic right, not something anyone has to earn.

Clean out the closet, make the drop-off, and someone gets through winter warmer. Small work, real warmth.

Sunday, we talked about why the mission was never meant to be one person solving everything — it's Nehemiah's wall, built one family's front-yard section at a time. It's a leaf pile that only clears by starting at your own feet, not the far end of the yard. It's Christ on His knees washing feet, not standing on a stage.

Christ cleared the big debris. That was never in question.

What's still sitting there — undone — is the pile at your own feet. And, more often than we want to admit, the pile at someone else's.

Tomorrow, we're talking about the unglamorous, grimy, next-section-of-the-wall kind of faith. Not the monument. Not the sanctuary with your name on a plaque. The floor nobody else will clean. The debris nobody else will clear.
