Becky and I have prayed TWO PRAYERS consistently from Fall 2024 until now. We feel now is the right time to go public with what we've been praying. We believe the events described below are a fulfillment of those prayers. We live in an awful, fallen world, where sickness and death is a reality. We also live in an awesome, creative world, where healing by medics—and other works of wonder by a God who hears and answers prayer—is possible!

Prayer # 1 is, “Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.” (Psalm 90:12 , NIV)
God answers in mysterious ways! We had to cancel all our travel plans to Scotland for the summer, after Peter was diagnosed on May 23 with oral and jaw cancer. June-Sept 2025 was spent in Atlanta on medical appointments. Oral and jaw surgery was successful (a mandibulectomy with skin graft from the thigh on July 7), with no follow-up chemo or radiation needed. Jaw/mouth/teeth reconstruction was scheduled for December. In Oct-Dec 2025, Peter was also diagnosed with severe heart disease (100% blockage in main artery, 70-50% in others) requiring open-heart quadruple bypass surgery (scheduled for Dec 11). The oral reconstruction is now postponed until March 2026.

Prayer #2 is, “Father, please give us scenic mountain acreage, for free, in one or more countries, with an inspirational existing (or new) facility, in which to launch and lead Prayer Center(s), to serve pastors, missionaries, leaders, believers, and the church.”
For however long we have left on earth, our main ministry will be launching and leading Prayer Center(s) for PreVision Partnership, with monthly prayer summits, regular events, and conferences.

In 40 years of ministry, Becky and I have followed several Biblical principles of prayer:
#1 SURRENDER TOTALLY. The Lord spoke to us in Aug-Oct 2024 several times to, "abandon it all, for the sake of the call.” We gave Him all we have and are, afresh, to do with as He pleases.
#2 LISTEN CAREFULLY. In Oct 2024, He confirmed Payer #1 and clarified Prayer #2, which was affirmed by like-minded friends and the PreVision Partnership Board. Further, we shared and prayed on hundreds of occasions with individuals, couples, and in small group settings.
#3 PRAY SPECIFICALLY. Over time, we’ve learned that He gives specific prayers because He DELIGHTS in giving specific answers! In response, we began praying clearly, patiently, and frequently for Global Prayer Center(s), starting in the southeastern USA. Through this, we believe God will raise up a new generation of younger men and women, transformed by the Lord Almighty, fueled by prayer, to take the Gospel to the ends of the earth and to future generations.
#4 SHARE IT PUBLICLY. Scary to do? Yes. Often misunderstood? Yes. Obedient? Absolutely. Numerous times, as we’ve cried out to the Lord in prayer to fulfill what He has promised, going public has resulted in breakthroughs in great answered prayer(s) and great glory to God.

So, please join us in this journey of faith and prayer. How? Pray for us and with us. We will come back to this post with prayer requests and updates. Start by praying for God to open all kinds of doors, for this post to get to the people who need to see it, for one or two "anchor" churches to show interest, for free land, etc. etc.---and yes, for successful heart surgery on December 11!
