Check out this 8 x 14 Jatoba Stave Drum.
This drum was an experiment for a client. I could not find a drum listed anywhere that was built with this particular species and was hoping it offer some really unique high end tonal qualities. I can say I am not disappointed. This drum is an 8” deep but cracks like 5.5” and sings for days. Not only that it has a beautiful color with nice grain lines. Hit me up if you would be interested in having Jatoba Drum for your snare collection.

Getting to work a few days in the shop this week. Right now I’’ve got this 8x14 Zebrawood ready for drilling layout. Then a beautiful Rainbow Polar is up next with more to come.
Feels good to be home a few days.
