Thank you so much for sharing your story with us yesterday! It was awesome hearing how God spoke directly to you through his Word and Matt when you were hurting the most.

Just as Nolan said yesterday, we aren’t meant to go through this life all alone trying to do it all in our own power. Who do you have in your life that continually points you back to Jesus and encourages you to live a life fully surrendered to him? If you currently don’t have someone discipling you in your walk with the Lord, ask the Lord to bring that person into your life. But don’t forget, you too are called to be that person in someone else’s life.

We are disciples making disciples who make disciples!

It was awesome having former NFL star Phil Olsen share with us today about his journey to Christ through two severe injuries that nearly wrecked his professional career before it ever got started. As is often the case, Jesus was more concerned with Phil’s heart than he was his knee. But thankfully Jesus used Phil’s time recovering from injury to RESET his perspective. Jesus filled a hole that neither football, nor money, nor fame ever could. Jesus gave him HOPE and a FUTURE and helped Phil to recognize his PURPOSE!

Jesus can do the same thing for you! And he wants to! But first you have to slow down. “Be still, and KNOW that I am God.” (Psalm 46:10)

As a coach or athlete, it can feel like the hustle and grind never stops. How you spend your “24/7” matters. Jesus is ready to give you the rest and rejuvenation that you need, you just have to slow down enough to receive it. Let’s go from being overwhelmed to living in the overflow of hope and joy that comes from Jesus!
