A lot of people want the label “Christian.”
But not everyone wants to submit to the authority of God’s Word. Jesus didn’t say “identify as My follower.” He said “you must be born again”
Deny yourself.
Take up your cross daily.
Follow Him — even unto death.
We live in a culture that wants to be saved from hell and from the consequences of sin…
but not submitted to the authority of a holy and righteous God.

Join us for a night of worship on the square July 17th. “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5‬:‭14‬-‭15‬ ‭

Are you performing for people or being transformed through God’s presence?

Jesus isn’t looking for performers who modify their behavior for social approval. He’s calling us into his presence where real change happens. When we disconnect from God’s word and rely on our own strength, we struggle. But when we spend time in prayer and scripture, his wisdom changes how we think, respond, and love.

“Beware of practicing your righteousness before others to be seen by them.”
— Matthew 6:1
Jesus said it once… then repeated it over giving, prayer, and fasting.
Three times He promised:
“Your Father who sees in secret will reward you.”
The Pharisees performed their spirituality for applause.
Jesus calls us to something deeper — sincere, private intimacy with the Father.
If no one ever saw your spiritual life…
would it still exist?
Kingdom devotion isn’t about public performance.
It’s about intimate and private devotion that the Father sees and rewards.

You’ve heard it said, “Love your neighbor…”
But Jesus says: Love your enemies.
Pray for those who persecute you.
Why?
Because that’s exactly what your Father in heaven does.
He sends sun and rain on the righteous and the wicked.
Kingdom love isn’t natural — it’s supernatural.
It’s not reactionary, it’s reflective.
It mirrors the mercy of God.
Anyone can love people who love them back.
But only a heart transformed by Jesus can love its enemies.
