Our summer calendar is out more details to come!

Join us for a night of worship on the square July 17th. “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5‬:‭14‬-‭15‬ ‭

Are you performing for people or being transformed through God’s presence?

Jesus isn’t looking for performers who modify their behavior for social approval. He’s calling us into his presence where real change happens. When we disconnect from God’s word and rely on our own strength, we struggle. But when we spend time in prayer and scripture, his wisdom changes how we think, respond, and love.

“Beware of practicing your righteousness before others to be seen by them.”
— Matthew 6:1
Jesus said it once… then repeated it over giving, prayer, and fasting.
Three times He promised:
“Your Father who sees in secret will reward you.”
The Pharisees performed their spirituality for applause.
Jesus calls us to something deeper — sincere, private intimacy with the Father.
If no one ever saw your spiritual life…
would it still exist?
Kingdom devotion isn’t about public performance.
It’s about intimate and private devotion that the Father sees and rewards.

You’ve heard it said, “Love your neighbor…”
But Jesus says: Love your enemies.
Pray for those who persecute you.
Why?
Because that’s exactly what your Father in heaven does.
He sends sun and rain on the righteous and the wicked.
Kingdom love isn’t natural — it’s supernatural.
It’s not reactionary, it’s reflective.
It mirrors the mercy of God.
Anyone can love people who love them back.
But only a heart transformed by Jesus can love its enemies.

Have you been struggling with anger lately? We all face the temptation to execute wrathful judgement on others because of our anger. Jesus lived a life that modeled grace despite wrongdoing, embarrassment, and suffering. We should seek to do the same thing.

“In your anger do not sin; do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give th devil a foothold.” -Ephesians 4:26-27

“Be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry, because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires.” - James 1:19-20

Stay alert, stand firm, and don’t give the enemy any ground. God has better for you - choose peace, forgiveness, and self control.

Jesus doesn’t just fix your behavior — He goes straight for the heart.
In Matthew 5:21-30, He says:
“You have heard… but I say to you.”
Anger = murder in God’s eyes.
Lust = adultery in the heart.
Sin doesn’t start with what you DO.
It starts with what you DESIRE.
The Pharisees managed behavior.
Jesus performs heart surgery.
Kingdom holiness isn’t about looking clean on the outside.
It’s about being made new on the inside.

This week Cade is bringing the word!

Kingdom righteousness isn’t about performance, it’s about transformation. Jesus calls us to be more than just “externally religious.” We are called to be changed from the inside out! Don’t just look holy—be changed.

💡 We are the salt of the earth and the light of the world! Let’s influence our culture, not imitate it.

See you tomorrow! Doors open @ 5:30 PM, Worship @ 6:30 PM. Bring a friend!

Week 1 – Matthew 5:3–12

Jesus opens the Sermon on the Mount by redefining “blessed.”

Not self-sufficient.
Not impressive.
Not dominant.

Poor in spirit.
Broken over sin.
Hungry for righteousness.

Kingdom life starts with repentance.
